Sorry to be a debby downer but another concern is that no one on our staff besides Golden is being considered for other jobs. Sure the retention is great but what is better is having other schools wanting your coaches as it validates that they are good at their job. George McDonald is a prime example and we all knew he was the best coach we had. Same thing with Jedd Fisch. To make it worse, Miami doesn't pay very high so the other schools would be offering a big spike in pay which would make it easier for them to sway our coaches to their staff. Love Al's loyalty but as a manager you have to be aware of your staff and why only you want them.

Our staff is actually pretty well paid. If you are going to compare them to Bama, and LSU maybe not but to the rest of the country they are compensated pretty well.

As soon as I can neg you again, I'm going too. You've started more soft shouldered threads than anyone on this board. Getting retarded at this point.

Where can I send you a years supply of Tampax?

Name someone on the staff who performed well? OL? DL? Dbacks? LBers?

Besides recievers, every other coach gets an F

every year coordinators are not always up for jobs...man calm down..

Golden needs to kinda shake himself pull his **** together and then close...

I do like that he stated in his interview the staff is reevaluating their positions and as soon as
the dead period is over he is hitting the trails its just weird as FACK that the recruiting class
as high as it is ranked and it does have some ballers, still has holes that needs to be met

and its hard to do that when you aleady have like 29-30 commits and maybe 1-3 spots
somebody is going to get dropped in place of another...lets just hope AL reels in the talent
we need ballers...it does suck that it took him until January to offer Treon this late...

My bad, Hurlie gets a C minus

As soon as Duke got hurt, we were three and out, and no RB the entire season could get a first down on thrird or fourth and 1.

Mostly on Coley and Kehoe, but Brown wasn't exactly great, our running game sucked when Duke wasn't in.

DBs haven´t looked too bad. Factor in how much time the opposing QBs have and I would say that Williams is doing a decent job. So, we´ve got that going for us.

I like to compare myself to successful people, sets the standards and bar a bit higher. Comparing myself to a drug addict felon isn't where it's at.

My point is that we SHOULD be comparing ourselves to BAMA and LSU, because those types of programs are superior to ours.

If you think any other school would want Dumbofrio as their defensive coordinator, you are certifiable.

Based on the O Line performance in that Bowl game, how Kehoe held his job is mind boggling.

OL: C Talent shouldn't be an issue so I'm blaming coaching.
DL: D- Talent is obviously the issue BUT a better scheme *cough* coach could improve the line.
DB: B- Probably our most talented group although some players aren't where they need to be development-wise; Rayshawn, Deon pre-injury, etc.
LB: C DP is basically all we have. No one else seems to play at the same pace that he plays at. Coaching?
RB: C+ Talent is an issue here as well. Crawford anywhere else ideally would be a #3 back but he's our #2?
WR: B+ Most talented group on the team. Some need to put on 5-10 lbs (Hurns, Coley, and Waters out there looking frail. S&C?)
QB: B- Oh how I miss Fisch. Would've done wonders with Kaaya.

I point out concerns about the program that are valid and true. You don't like hearing about them and struggle with the truth. Doesn't make me less of a fan.

Man, there is no winning with some of you guys. You are complaining that no one came after any of our coaches (that we know of), but on the other hand you would be complaining that we don't pay enough if they did come after our coaches and take them. How often to you hear about position coaches or coordinators being recruited when they don't switch teams?
