Reminds me of when UM's press release after signing day back around '87 listed Rich McKenzie of Ft. Lauderdale as a UM signee. He actually had signed with Penn State. McKenzie and Sterling Palmer of Ft. lauderdale were two very highly-rated players we missed on.

Both became, at best, ordinary-to-good college players, but nothing special.

To this day, there's still a question in my mind as to whether Palmer really had the grades to qualify. Something was fishy there. I wouldn't make that statement lightly.
