The only way the suspension is a waste is if those football players are seniors who play no other sports. If they are underclassmen and/or play basketball or wrestle or play tennis then they will serve that suspension.

Did the FHSAA suspend Sam Bruce for that incident? He had to be involved somehow.

There has been a lot of big wigs at Dwyer lately from the district offices and the new principal at Dwyer isn't very happy and is talking about kicking kids out of school. Not sure if that is serious or not but just what I have seen and heard.
