I’m convinced it gotta be rigged … as im watching the 76ers and Bucks nba game the spread is Milwaukee -16.5. The bucks are up by 24 with 3:00 left in the 4th they completely dumb out and seemed like they all forgot how to play basketball they let Philly go on a run so they wouldn’t cover the spread

I’m not naive enough to think that rigging doesn’t occur, but what you described is another problem that burns people every day when it comes to sports betting. You see this all the time where one team gets a huge lead, starts to slack off and just loses interest, and let’s the other team right back in it. It’s much more prevalent in basketball and football where physicality and athleticism play a huge role. That’s why I like betting on baseball. Baseball is a numbers game where statistical analysis and data play a big part, and the numbers don’t lie. Not saying it never happens in baseball, I just think it’s much harder to pull off.

Years ago I heard about the philosophy of betting the streak and how baseball was the easiest sport to do that with because of the large number of games. My retirement project will be to track down as source for the results of every baseball going back a few decades and crunching the numbers to see if it's a valid theory. Then if it is, I'll buy a yacht.
