According to Rivals....

Telfort’s commitment has been viewed as contested for quite some time. The fact that the four-star transferred from Miami Norland High School to traditional Miami pipeline Booker T Washington certainly helped the whispers of a possible change of heart grow louder. Then, on Friday, Telfort said that his mother would prefer him stay close to home at UM, There’s a saying in recruiting that suggests betting against mom is a sucker’s play, and that holds true more times than not. Telfort will likely take official visits to UM and Florida before making a final decision in January. The Rivals250 lineman sticking with Florida is certainly possible, but things don’t look great for the Gators at this juncture.

It's great that we're still in it. I'd like to say that current commits who announce their decision don't usually hold up very well with the team currently committed to. But we've seen Chad Thomas, Sam Bruce, and JC Jackson to name a few stick with their then current decisions.

What would **** me off is if Ufag flips Leatherwood and that's why we end up with Telfort.

The pipe dream is Telfort, Donaldson and Leatherwood as the headliners with Dykstra and Hillery as guys we can groom. That's big boy **** and the kind of OL class you have to pull to compete for national titles.

If Leatherwood flips, it'll be to USC or maybe Miami, I haven't really heard much of Florida even recruiting him.
Did you see something on that?

The tide is changing... But the sun is rising.

The U will be back in the 2019 playoffs

This is from Hank South the alabama writer on Aug 17th stating were bama stands with their recruits.

Alex Leatherwood, OT, Pensacola (Fla.) Washington - No. 3 OT, No. 12 overall player
Five-star offensive tackle Alex Leatherwood is another prospect who made an early commitment to Alabama. After receiving an offer at camp in June 2015, the 6-foot-6, 327-pounder didn't wait long to make up his mind. Since that time, the Sunshine State lineman's recruitment has blown up earning him a long list of additional offers. Leatherwood plans to take all five official visits. Currently Florida, Michigan and USC appear to be the teams in line to combat the Tide for the five-star's signature.

Here is something to think about Kadeem Telfort now plays for Ice Harris at BTW, the same Ice Harris Miami and Coach Richt just fired. An it is no secret Ice Harris and Randy Shannon ( UF LB coach) go way back so unless something is up with Coach Shannon at UF, I can't imagine how Telfort gets away from UF unless he is dropped to make room for someone better.

Now if on the other hand Ice Harris does not hold grudge over taking a six figure pay cut having to return to coaching at BTW then Miami should be in good shape to flip Belfort.

Go Canes

1 Ice harris kid has gone to play for Shannon since his first firing. That same kid said on signing day that he would have gone to FSU with Matthew Thomas, if he knew he was signing there beforehand. Chad and Demetrius were committed to the guy that first fired Ice, while he was still at booker t. We don't know how much of Ice's input will affect his decision (good or bad).. Tim Harris jr couldn't get any of their 1-year transfers (just like Telfort) to sign with his dad in 2015.

This whole "Ice holds a grudge" stuff gets WAY overplayed. People said the same thing when Golden pulled Denver Kirkland scholie and Ice went on local radio and bashed the coaching staff saying that was a bush league move..what happens next? BOOM! Ice is on Goldens staff a few years later. Didnt seem to hold a grudge that long did he?

Ice is out for doing whats best for the kids. Nothing else. Love him or hate him.
