I know that Miami is trying to recruit mostly local talent and some from Atlanta area. I want to try to raise awareness that they need to be focusing on South Georgia too . I watched a kid name chad mascoe from Thomasville Bulldogs friday night. This kid is 6 foot 185 and he’s only 14 ! Arm like a cannon and can run like a cheetah. FSU already has him on the radar . We also have teams like Colquit , lowndes , Valdosta , Tcchs , and many others . Region 1 from Georgia is loaded from top to bottom . Coach Richt and co needs to start picking from ole slick willies territory

maybe you should be sending this information to Richt and Co. instead of CIS! I highly doubt CMR spends that much time in this site.
 
Definitely a lot of talent in south ga. Normally those places are tough pulls for us. Just such a country area.

I agree there is talent there the problem is people in South GA think that Miami is another country. I live in Atlanta and they don't even like Atlanta in South GA.

LOL, Anyone who has paid any attention to GA high school football knows region 1 is always loaded. We dont need to tell Richt that

Went to college at Ga Southern and the looks i'd get all kinds of crazy looks from people when I told them I was a Miami fan. They truly think Miami is the land of Sodom and Gomorrah. When I was applying to college I told my parents UM was my dream school. My dad was cool with the thought of me going there, but moms was not on board at all.
 
You probably right about the country boys going to play at big city schools. Half of them go to places like UGA and Clemson . The other half can’t wait to get out of the hick towns . Another fun fact is I have seen Dabo , Kirby , and other coaches on friday nights at these games . I’m sure they weren’t playing LSU the next day . I just hope that Mascoe kid doesn’t go to FSU . Maybe Richt can slide by here on one of his quail hunting trips .

Miami went after Jalen Goss last year who was from Lowndes. The South Georgia area has just historically been an SEC area with some FSU recruits as well. It's a tough pull most times.
 
I told my son he could go to any school except Ga Southern . That’s a legit party school . He would be back in three months with student loan debt and a beer belly .

Im almost 100 percent sure that our coaches and scouts know theres talent there. They arent oblivious. Kids from there usually just straight up dont wanna come here. **** kids from country areas in Florida usually dont either. Miami is not for everyone.
 
Of Richt knows the Area and So Georgia and Jacksonville has been Hartley recruiting areas since his Marshall days.

Didn't we try to recruit that knock-kneed DT who eventually went to FSU from a small-town in South Georgia?

Sodom and Gommorah? If you're old enough to remember the notorious old Thomasville Fair (1960's) you know how hypocritical those southern Georgia folks are. Whole families would go to fair, together. The wives and probably daughters just smiled and looked the other way when the men excused themselves to head over to the tent with the nude dancing girls. I guess the women just wandered around continuing to look at hogs or canning stuff or whatever while the men enjoyed naked women. In those days, the dancing girls at those fairs showed more than the strip clubs in New Orleans, Florida, Atlanta, etc.
