I honestly don't know what to say here. DMoney usually has a whole intro for each position and I'm not as talented a writer. We have seen a bunch of pass rushers come out of the region in recent years. This year seems to be another good output. I'm excited to see how they do at the next level.

Darryll (6'4.5" 240) and Mandrell Desir (6'3.5" 240), Miami Norland - Identical twin prospects. Spent freshmen years at Everglades. Combined for 44 sacks and over 100 TFLs last three seasons of high school. Eerily similar prospects to 2024 Norland prospects Tyclean and Tycoolhill Luman, who signed with Rutgers. Muscular speed rushers that throw offensive tackles around. Both claim 4.6 40s and look like it how they explode off the line. FSU signees.

Romando Johnson, Monarch (6'3" 250) - Spent first two years at Wellington. Split junior year between Palm Beach Central, then Salem HS in New Jersey before ending at Monarch, then continued attending Monarch for his senior season. 7 sacks and 22 TFLs as a senior. Lightning quick off the line with good pop as a hitter. Also played some TE. West Virginia signee.

DeAngelo Thompson Jr., Miami Northwestern (6'4" 215) - Miami Springs transfer. Consistent burst off the edge & chases down ballcarriers like a bounty hunter. Violent hitter. 10 sacks as a senior. Team captain. Will need to spend time at the training table before he hits the field. Syracuse signee.

Brandon Thomas, Carol City (6'3.5" 200) - Started out at IMG Academy, then St. Frances in Baltimore, before spending senior year with the Chiefs. 6 sacks and 15 TFLs as a senior. Speed rusher with an impressive swim move. Delivers nasty blows to the QB. May project as an off-ball LB at the next level. Western Kentucky signee.

Richard Scott III, St. Thomas Aquinas (6'3" 235) - Gibbons transfer. Active pass rusher with good bend and pursuit. 5 sacks and 14 TFLs as a senior. FIU signee.

Jerald James, Miami Palmetto (6'2" 210) - Killian transfer. 12.5 sacks and almost 50 TFLs the last two seasons of high school. Speed rusher with good pop. 11.69 100M. Projects as a LB at the next level. James Madison signee.

Matthew Pointer, Chaminade Madonna (6'5" 220) - Fort Lauderdale High transfer. Basketball player with twitch and length. 7.5 sacks and 24 TFLs as a senior. Relentless pursuit and has a knack for batting down passes at the LOS. Averaged 12 points and 6 rebounds a game on the court as a junior. Underrated. FIU signee.

Brennan King, Cardinal Newman (6'1.5" 225) - 22.5 sacks and 43 TFLs as a junior, followed by 14 sacks and 38 TFLs as a senior. Plays the game with unabashed hatred in his heart. Imagine George Foreman's punching power in tackling form and that is this kid. No idea how he was so underrated. Projects at LB at the next level due to size. Also a wrestler, and one of the best throwers in the state. Southern Illinois signee.

The crazy part is that I agree that this list isn't overly impressive, yet 3-4 of these guys will likely become impact players and 1 or 2 may find themselves on an NFL roster.

Your list next year is going to be fire. 2026 is a great crop of south fla players. I hope u do this every year. Guaranteed there's a few sleepers on your lists of different positions

Don't know anything about him, but based solely on this description and the fact he's one of best thrillers and is a wrestler, if that Brennan King kid can run, he sounds like he will be good. The type that would play at Iowa and is somehow in late first round discussion after their senior yr lol... But idk if he's white lol
