South Florida has never been much of a tight end factory, historically speaking. However, over the past decade or so, we've seen BIg Ten & SEC schools come down here and pull talented TEs from the high school ranks. The past 3 years in particular has seen the talent at the position coming faster than an off-duty police officer at an Asian massage parlor. This year, we saw a good crop of South Florida tight ends sign nationally.
Adam Moore, Miami Northwestern (6'2" 220) - Booker T transfer. Over the years, we have discussed prospects such as Kahlil Brantley, Larry Hodges, Brevin Jordan, CJ Donaldson, etc. It is in my opinion that Adam Moore is the most talented out of all the players I just named. H-back body type but has the athleticism of an outside receiver. Regularly bombed DBs in the Mecca. 819 receiving yards and 3 TDs on 21 YPC as a junior. Physical after the catch. Great blocker. Battled injury as a senior but scored 7 TDs in 7 games. If he keeps his head on straight in the DFW, I think he will do big things on the next level. SMU signee.
TeKai Kirby, St. Thomas Aquinas (6'3" 210) - Plays in-line as well as an H-back role and is well-versed in all of the finer points at the position. Surprising breakaway speed once out in the open. Physical blocker in the run game. Wasn't very productive due to the multitude of options in the STA offensive attack. Track background. Father, Terry, starred for the Virginia Cavaliers in the early 90s, where his uniform number is retired, and enjoyed a 10 year NFL career at running back. UVA signee.
AJ Jenkins, Dillard (6'3" 190) - Played at Coral Glades as a freshman, Cardinal Gibbons as a sophomore, Deerfield Beach as a junior and Dillard as a senior. I remember his name hyped early as one of the next great South Florida wideouts but unfortunately it never materialized. A bit lumbering but makes up for it with his physicality after the catch. Will high point the ball. Good hands. FAU signee.
Parker Poloskey, Olympic Heights (6'4" 225) - One of the better throwers in the country, with personal bests of 54'2.5" in the shot put and 150'3 in the discus. That power translates to the football field as he is a devastating blocker in the run game. He possesses soft hands as a receiver and can be an asset in that department as well. Also plays defensive end & has some pass rush ability. Army signee.

Jackson Worley, The King's Academy (6'4" 225) - Basketball player with great agility. Surprising twitch. Can go up and high point the ball. Willing blocker. Ideal tight end frame. Troy signee.
