Historically, South Florida has never been a premier destination for offensive linemen. It just wasn't a breeding ground for them. However, over the past five years or so, we have seen a meteoric rise in trench prospects. The downside is that an alarming number of them have been busts. This class, we have a solid group of guys that I think can be contributors at their programs.
Frankie Tinilau, LaSalle (6'5 320) - Native of Brisbane, Australia that moved here in 2021. Looks like Tristan Wirfs on the cuff & plays like him too. Strong base that he uses to fuel his IHOP addiction. Excellent mover in space. Powerful hands; once he gets his hands on someone, they're usually going down. Most 300+ lb. high school offensive linemen are extremely doughy, but Frankie has the rock solid physique of an NFL blindside protector. Miami signee.
Deandre Duffus, Chaminade Madonna (6'4" 330) - McArthur transfer. When @gogeta4 gives you the Prop Joe Stamp Of Approval on official letterhead, you know it's real. That's why I was high on Deandre Duffus the entire recruiting cycle. Interior prospect with great size & a nasty streak. Elite lead blocker. Also played H-back and showed off his athleticism there. He was a pivotal piece to an offensive line that fueled one of the nation's most high-octane offenses. Fiery competitive spirIt & leader. Maryland signee.
Rico Jackson, Dillard (6'6" 300) - Four year starter at LT at a program that quietly pumps out trench prospects. Protoypical LT frame. Extremely nimble on feet & will make blocks downfield. Uses powerful base & hands of stone to bury the opposition. NC State signee, a program that has produced quality linemen for some time now.

Ryan Mickow, St. Thomas Aquinas (6'5" 300) - Westminster Academy transfer. Two year starter on the OL for a state championship team. Versatile lineman that can play both tackle spots and center. Quickness abounds with this prospect. Prototypical OT frame. Uses wide base & exceptional agility to wall off defenders. Basketball background. Member of the National Honor Society. Boston College signee, another ACC program with exceptional OL development.
Andre' Otto, Key West (6'5" 290) - The Conch Republic hasn't produced a D1 player since class of 2016 RB Mekhi Sargent, who played for the Iowa Hawkeyes from 2018-2020 after playing at Iowa Western CC his first two years. When I first heard they had a Power 5 offensive lineman, I was skeptical, but it all makes sense. Otto is a two-way stud with athleticism & a mean streak. Also wrestles & is a 285 lb regional champion. Competes in track & field in the throws. Also lettered in lacrosse. Held his own against Broward & Dade competition. FSU signee.
William Larkins, Chaminade Madonna (6'4" 310) - South Broward transfer. Pure center prospect with NFL size & the necessary intelligence for the position. Anchored an offensive line that powered an offense that has produced over 10,000 total yards the last two seasons. Excellent mover that can lead block or execute combo blocks. Brother, Claude, was a defensive end in the 2020 class that signed with NC State & currently plays for FIU. Indiana signee.
Elvin Harris, Chaminade Madonna (6'5" 320) - McArthur transfer. It is unfair for Chaminade to have had 3 mammoths in one class on their offensive line. Harris is a strong blocker that uses his big frame to swallow up defenders. A bit doughy & will benefit from a college strength program. Lower body not as thick as you'd want. Not as nimble in space as I'd hoped. Campbell signee.
Daniel Michel, Dillard (6'5" 265) - Boyd Anderson transfer. Athletic mover with the ability to mirror pass rushers. Fluid blocker downfield. Also plays edge as well. Lettered in basketball & baseball. FIU signee who I feel is underrated.
Mykeal Rabess, Norland (6'5" 265) - Started out at Hialeah Miami Lakes, before transferring to North Miami, then finally Miami Norland. Athletic blocker who can corral defenders downfield. Also plays DE and was productive there (7.5 sacks, 20 TFLs as a junior.) Can he keep the athleticism while bulking up at the next level? FIU signee.
Jayvin James, Blanche Ely (6'4" 255) - Boyd Anderson transfer. 0 sacks allowed in 420 snaps as a senior. Athletic blocker that will need to get stronger for the next level. Akron signee.
Broden Sobolewski, St. Thomas Aquinas (6'0" 260) - Squatty battering ram with a powerful base. Moves great in space. Built like a slightly out of shape fullback. Army signee.
Thomas Cornett, The King's Academy (6'3" 295) - Has been playing varsity since 8th grade. Great thrower (46'8.25" 12 lb. shotput, 113'5.5" discus, 144'5.75" javelin) and it shows in his film. Powerful blocker with excellent hand placement. Can get to the second and third level with ease. Built like a 3-tech DT. 3.7 GPA. Fordham signee.
Roger Reyes, Western (6'5" 285) - Team captain & 1st team all-county. Anchored an offensive line that helped Collin Hurst become one of the most prolific passers in Florida state history. Uses powerful base to knock back opponents. Can get downfield. Villanova signee.
Zian Attawalla, Monarch (6'3" 300) - Deerfield Beach transfer. Wide-bodied bully. Swallows up smaller defensive linemen. Can deliver blocks upfield. Will need to work on body recomposition & conditioning. FCS Presbyterian signee.
