The Pass Rushers

Donell Harris
, Gulliver Prep (6'4" 215) - Signed with Texas A&M, transferred to Louisiana-Monroe in 2023

Samuel Anaele, McDougle Tech (6'4" 240) - Signed with Kentucky, entered portal 2023

Elijah Roberts, Columbus (6'3" 267) - Signed with Miami, transferred to SMU in 2023

Latarie Kinsler, Pahokee (6'2" 205) - Signed with Syracuse, transferred to FIU in 2022, transferred to FAMU in 2024

Chris Jones, Coconut Creek (6'4" 215) - Signed with FAU

Riyad Wilmot, St. Thomas Aquinas (6'3" 250) - Signed with Maryland

Claude Larkins, Chaminade Madonna (6'4" 250) - Signed with NC State, transferred to FIU in 2023, entered portal again recently

Emmanuel Belgrave, Southridge (6'2" 220) - Signed with Pitt, transferred to UT Martin in 2022

Sam Williams, Calvary Christian (6'4" 210) - Signed with Pitt, transferred to Murray State in 2023

Kendrick Wilson, Norland (6'5" 235) - Signed with UCF

Stephen Passegiata, Wellington (6'2" 220) - Signed with App State

Tramel Logan, Booker T (6'3" 230) - Signed with USF, transferred to Louisville in 2024

Giovanni Davis, Dr. Krop (6'3" 230) - Signed with UT Martin, transferred to FIU in 2024

Tamarick Best, Pahokee (6'1" 225) - Signed with FIU

Dylan Lacroix, Park Vista (6'3" 215) - Signed with Dartmouth

Review: Donell Harris and Sam Anaele busted, very, very badly.

Elijah Roberts was dealt a bad hand with injuries at Miami but has become one of the best defensive linemen in the country at SMU, and is a draft prospect. Tramel Logan and Giovanni Davis are both good rotational pass rushers. Claude Larkins, Latarie Kinsler and Chris Jones are starters but unspectacular. The rest didn't do anything.

The DTs

Westley Neal
, Gulliver (6'0" 315) - Signed with Rhode Island

Henry Bryant, Atlantic (5'11" 275) - Signed with Louisville, transferred to Georgia State in 2023

Kervins Choute, Deerfield Beach (6'3" 250) - Signed with UCF, transferred to UConn in 2024

Bobby Washington, St. Thomas Aquinas (5'9" 290) - Signed with FIU

Review: Power 5 teams were weary of both Neal and Bryant due to their lack of height, however both ended up being good players and are draft prospects. The other two did nothing. I thought Choute would be a good player, he had a really good frame.

The LBs

Derek Wingo
, St. Thomas Aquinas (6'2" 210) - Signed with UF

Ruben Hyppolite, McArthur (6'0" 225) - Signed with Maryland

Devon Betty, St. Thomas Aquinas (6'0" 210) - Signed with NC State

Khaya Wright, South Miami (6'3" 220) - Signed with Georgia Tech, transferred to FIU in 2022, entered portal again

Frankie Burgess, Pahokee (6'3" 215) - Signed with Maryland

Jesus Machado, Champagnat Catholic (6'1" 205) - Signed with Tulane

Vincent Starling, Palm Beach Lakes (6'3" 215) - Signed with South Dakota

Jalen Reeves, University School (6'0" 208) - Signed with Rice

Reviews: Derek Wingo was a borderline 5 star and the Florida Gatorade Player of the Year. He busted VERY BADLY.

Ruben Hyppolite is one of the best LBs in the Big Ten. Devon Betty is a solid LB at NC State. Jesus Machado was one of the best LBs in the G5 but suffered a severe injury last December in the Military Bowl that sidelined him for the entire 2024 season. The others did nothing.

I thought Frankie Burgess was going to be a special player. He was from a football factory, had a great frame, his film was violence & destruction & he led the state of Florida in sacks as a senior.

The CBs

Henry Gray
, Miami Central (6'0" 172) - Signed with Nebraska, early enrolled, entered portal before fall camp, transferred to FIU, entered portal again in 2023

Jaiden Francois, South Dade (6'0" 185) - Signed with Nebraska, released from NLI, enrolled at UCF, transferred to Utah State in 2023

Jaheem Joseph, Monsignor Pace (5'11" 170) - Signed with Northwestern, transferred to West Virginia in 2024, entered portal again recently

RJ Delancy, Miami Northwestern (5'11" 160) - Signed with Nebraska, transferred to Toledo in 2021, transferred to Wisconsin in 2024

Daryl Porter Jr., American Heritage (5'11" 168) - Signed with West Virginia, transferred to Miami in 2023

Deidrick Stanley, Chaminade Madonna (5'9" 170) - Signed with Middle Tennessee, transferred to South Dakota in 2023

Joshua Pierre-Louis, The Benjamin School (5'9" 165) - Signed with NC State, attended JUCO in 2023, transferred to West Georgia in 2024

Davonte Brown, American Heritage (6'1" 160) - Signed with UCF, transferred to Miami in 2023, transferred to FSU in 2024

Justin Hodges, Western (6'2" 185) - Signed with UCF, transferred to Arkansas State in 2023

Corey Thornton, Booker T (6'1" 175) - Signed with UCF, transferred to Louisville in 2024

Jamal Potts, AMH Delray (6'3" 181) - Signed with FIU

Ben Onwuzo, Chaminade Madonna (5'11" 185) - Did not academically qualify for Minnesota, signed with FAMU

Dave Herard, Stranahan (6'0" 165) - Signed with UVA, transferred to Western Kentucky in 2024

Branden Coleman, Columbus (6'1" 150) - Signed with Colorado State

Roman Parodie, Cardinal Gibbons (6'1" 170) - Signed with Ohio

Colby Dempsey, St. Thomas Aquinas (5'10" 170) - Signed with UAB

Trevor Reaves, Edison (6'2" 175) - Signed with FAU

Anthony Johnson Jr., Norland (5'10" 170) - Signed with West Florida, transferred to Western Kentucky in 2023

Charles Toombs, Immokalee (5'10" 155) - Signed with FAU

Jeshon Ingraham, Palm Beach Lakes (6'2" 175) - Signed with Tennessee State

Reyan Blake, Seminole Ridge (6'0" 190) - Signed with UConn, transferred to Bethune Cookman in 2022

Jashon Prophete, Blanche Ely (6'0" 170) - Signed with Northern Illinois

Review: The top prospect at corner (Henry Gray) was a bust. Besides him, this was a loaded year!

Jaiden Francois, Jaheem Joseph, Daryl Porter Jr, Justin Hodges, Corey Thornton, Jamal Potts, Dave Herard, Roman Parodie, Colby Dempsey, Anthony Johnson and Jashon Prophete all became multiyear starters. I expect most of these guys to be playing at the next level.

Deidrick Stanley and Davonte Brown were multiyear starters but dealt with injury. RJ Delancy was one of the best DBs in the MAC, then got beat out by Xavier Lucas for a starting spot at Wisconsin. Joshua Pierre-Louis was a starter at NC State but had off-the-field issues.

I thought Jeshon Ingraham and Ben Onwuzo would be good players. Both were long, physical corners with good athleticism.

The Safeties

Jalen Harrell
, Champagnat Catholic (6'2" 180) - Signed with Miami, transferred to UMass in 2023

Keshawn Washington, South Dade (6'2" 170) - Signed with Miami, transferred to Murray State in 2023

Jahvante Royal, St. Thomas Aquinas (6'3" 185) - Signed with Pitt, transferred to New Mexico in 2024

Gabe Taylor, Gulliver Prep (5'10" 170) - Signed with Rice

Robert Hanna, Palmetto (6'0" 170) - Signed with Syracuse

Chris Townsel, Deerfield Beach (6'2" 175) - Signed with USF, transferred to Kennesaw State in 2024

Quadric Bullard, Chaminade Madonna (6'0" 160) - Signed with UCF

Brian Balom, Miramar (6'0" 180) - Signed with Miami

Majon Wright, Cardinal Gibbons (6'3" 200) - Signed with Arizona, bounced between Arizona, JUCO, San Diego State and Valdosta State

Eddie Jackson, Gulliver (6'1" 180) - Signed with Northern Illinois

Shedrick Ursery, Champagnat Catholic (6'1" 170) - Signed with Charlotte

Andrew Volmar, American Heritage (6'2" 170) - Signed with FIU, transferred to Louisiana-Monroe in 2023, transferred to Bethune Cookman in 2024

Jalin Wilson, South Dade (6'0" 185) - Signed with Valdosta State

Review: GABE TAYLOR WAS A TITANIC, GARGANTUAN, EMBARRASINGLY BAD MISS.

Quadric Bullard is a multiyear starter and one of the best DBs in the Big 12. Keshawn Washington was a bust at Miami but is a quality starter at the FCS level. Hanna, Townsel, Jackson, Volmar and Ursery all started early but had off-the-field problems. Jalen Harrell was a bust.

I thought Royal would be a player. He was a long athlete from a good school.

Enjoy!

Really? That seems like pushing it for most of these guys…Although admittedly I don't know the accomplishments for every single one (just where they played/transferred, and whether or not if some of them are starters)

I don't necessarily mean starting in the NFL, or even getting drafted

I hate to be a Debby Downer but South Florida has been down for awhile. I wish it wasn’t but it just is. Producing a couple of average college starters is not the South Florida of 10-15 years ago. 2018 was the last classic South Florida year.

95 percent of this board would of been so ****ed off at this class when signing period came around.

between 6-8

Offense is pretty good...defense is solid but that dt group isnt ...a wide open offense and those skills are good... On d you have multiple year power 5 starters to make is atleast an avg defense.
