South Florida is always going to produce big-time backs. In addition to stars like Sony Michel and Dalvin Cook, you see guys like Devin Singletary (AMH- Delray) and Zack Moss (Hallandale) blossom at the next level.

Kenny McIntosh- 6’1, 216, 4.87* (University)- Fluid, big-bodied athlete who has been making plays on varsity since 8th grade. Rare “make-you-miss” ability at his size. Natural receiver. Brother of former Miami DT RJ McIntosh and former Notre Dame RB Deon McIntosh. Long-speed is only concern, but he consistently breaks big runs. Also has played a lot of safety and has big upside on defense.
Nay’Quan Wright- 5’8, 188, 4.63* (Carol City)- Local legend who has been on the radar since youth football. Was shot by stray gunfire during football practice as an 11-year-old, but overcame his wounds to become one of the top sophomores in the country. Missed his junior year with an ankle injury. Natural runner with a classic RB build and playmaker mentality. Hits home runs despite lack of elite speed. If healthy, he is capable of making an immediate impact on Power 5 team.
Daniel Carter- 5'10, 204* (St. Thomas Aquinas)- Strong, twitchy back that played well with an increased role last year. 954 yards (7.5 ypc) and 17 TDs. Hard runner. Texas, Kansas State, Pittsburgh and Utah are in the mix, among others.

Vincent Davis- 5’8, 165, 4.49* (Cardinal Gibbons)- Confident speedster who made some huge runs for Gibbons. 942 yards (7.2 ypc) and 11 TDs. Won the Fastest Man at the Miami Opening. Elite balance to break tackles despite small stature. Explosive (36 in VJ, 10.91 100M). Not just a one-dimensional burner- can catch and has toughness. Top-shelf back that is capable of putting up big numbers in the ACC (Pitt commit).

Ja’tarie Washington- 5’10, 188 (Pahokee)- Underrated player from the Muck with big talent. Extremely light on his feet, gliding running style. Can break tackles despite lean frame. 1,602 yards, 20 TDs. Offers from Louisville, Nebraska and Pitt. Half-brother of 2020 Louisville commit Latarie Kinsler.

Nigel White- 5’9, 154, 4.84* (STA)- Squatty, explosive player who runs like a true running back. Excellent feet and vision. Has a stiff-arm. More explosive (35 in VJ) and quicker (4.32 shuttle) than fast. Reminds me a bit of Jahkari Gore. Slight frame hurts his FBS projection. 439 yards, 5.9 ypc and 5 TDs as part of rotation.

Jacob Baptiste- 5’11, 180 (Northwestern)- Archbishop McCarthy transfer who produced against poor competition. Strong lower body to break tackles. Surprising feet. Lacks explosiveness and speed. Battled injuries as a junior, but had monster sophomore year (1,967, 8.4, 25 TDs). This year will be telling for him.
