That we were going to find out what kind of team we have when the wheels are falling off against a team that can beat us. Everything was going wrong at the start of the game. The horse**** false starts on GT, the spots, the turnovers, the just-misses on offense. More turnovers in the RZ, 25 play drives at 3 yards per play for GT.

That's a game we lose 10 out of 10 the last few years.

We stuck with it and did what all BCS championship caliber teams do, and we won a game when we played like ****. The coaching staff and the team rallied up and dropped the hammer.

We can sit here and point and *****, or we can choose to celebrate the fact that we did what good teams do in college football, which is survive.

It's amazing how many good teams play several games that go down exactly like the one yesterday did. Every solid team in the ACC and SEC is good for at least two that are close going into the fourth quarter then they pull away.

UGA needed the refs to beat a G-d awful Tennessee team today. South Carolina squeaked by UCF and Kentucky in back to back weeks. Florida needed a blocked punt to beat UL-Lafayette at home last year. We overcame the refs and some brain farts on offense and still won by 15 (should have been 22).

The offense will keep improving. Morris has only played in 2 full games this year.....just needs more game reps. The ankle thing with him does worry me though-he was limping around a little yesterday and that injury can linger throughout the rest of the year if hes not 100%. The dude still dropped 320 and 3 TDs so I can't really complain haha

We have now won 5 in a row against GT. There was no reason not to beat them yesterday.

Other teams show up and play. We are beatable. We earn our wins with good coaching' execution and a few breaks. Nothing is automatic. Comments like the above are utter bull****.

Some people think that just because you beat a team before, beating it every time is a given. Childish thinking. It is actually more of a challenge because that team is zeroed on you every game until they beat you. They improve year after year and they want it really bad so you have to be a real championship team to keep winning time after time and rise up to the increased intensity and preparation of the other team.
On top of that, GT had 2 more days to prepare for us and install new wrinkles in their triple option offense they normally have that resulted in the confusion of our defense in the first half. Coach D said as such at the beginning of his post game press interview.
