Williams now signs with TN. Unreal!

Would love to know the pitch they are getting.. besides the duffle bag whining we always here.

F*** em all !! I'm happy with the class we got so far. Wait till next year when this staff has a full year to recruit kids and build real relationships with them and their families. NO PRESSURE !!
 
These are 18 year old kids from poor families with very little to no parental guidance.

They think they know everything but really know nothing.

He really f'ed Dugans over who identified him at USF when nobody had a clue who he was and brought him into the fold at Miami. Kids like this very rarely pan out.
 
I don't ***** about kids being idiots. I was an idiot at 17 too. Some of the kids are worse than idiots but.....

This speaks to these kids' character. The parents are responsible for building their children's characters. I blame the parents. My kids would never pull of anything like this because we're instilling the right values and they would be in serious trouble with us if they did.
 
I say it in every thread just to try to bring sanity but before people freak out too much about williams

it's a loss, however he was just the 4th best WR we are bringing in

Richards, Bruce, and Mullins are all better and would play before him

nobody even knew who he was a month ago and everyone was fine with out wr class. He commits to us (so the services give him extra stars) and then leaves and all of a sudden the end of the world

Most of these kids are not from poor families. I agree with the rest of your post though.

tenn sold him that we were bringing in a huge wideout class and he wouldn't have any touches, I'm pretty sure when the news broke that we were getting richards and with bruce reaffirming that pretty much lost him, still a blow because this kid can fly, it makes getting greene even more crucial for next years class

yea i came back i couldn't stay away was expecting to see something but didn't the life of a canes fan

This makes the most sense. I mean his first chance of PT was kickoff and punts and Bruce firming up his commitment pretty much eliminated that chance. Its not that big of a loss even though its nice to stock up little burners who can play ST at a high level early.
 
How about Tyrie Cleveland, one of the top wrs in the country that was committed to Houston, flipped to UF today. Did this guy not watch their offense?

Hurts to lose anybody as the kid is talented but if we want to keep it real Ahmmon Richards and Sam Bruce were going to play over him so he most likely would have red-shirted. Then he would have had to compete against Mullins and whoever we bring in next year. Honestly we might not ever hear from this kid again. Like others have reiterated he has no guidance and people instructing him.

So just out of curiousity, it is always a better "pitch" that the kids are getting? So your saying Richt, Dugans and Rumph have no "pitch"?

We have almost ZERO CB depth and a need for WR. There is no pitch that can be better short of other factors. Maybe it is other factors than the "duffle bag"...like your roommate is coming here so you should too, or the Grand Ole Opry is around here and Hee Haw was filmed pretty close by...I just doubt it. Maybe...I sleep with my sister, and your welcome to as well.

that was lane kiffen basically had girls trying to get knocked up by recruits on their OV.

look williams is dumb. first off, tenn doesnt pass for crap. i mean he wont excel in that offense. second, scott didnt recruit him at UM but then goes after at UT after he committed to UM. he was a revenge move. i dont care. we got 3 of the best wr's in the country and he prob felt he couldnt compete with them. my gut is also telling me something happened where he had his offer pulled or put on hold. something happened.
