BC dude and Nick Monroe while I understand aren’t in the same realm as TRob in recruiting south Florida both are thought to be amazing coaches. And BC dude is the TRob of the DMV.

Who was Trobs best recruit here by the way? Graves?

The others listed have a lot to prove. They don’t have years of experience in the industry where they can point to dudes balling out in the NFL and say, “ya, I coached that guy.”

Also, recruiting at BC or Syracuse is a lot different than recruiting at Miami. Whoever we hire is going to have to go head to head with T-Rob and Raymond for every 5 star in our backyard.

There’s some good DB coaches out there we could hire to replace TRob, problem is most of them are already hired elsewhere, so maybe we’re gonna have to up the price we’re willing to pay for a CB’s coach in order to get one, which then creates the interesting conundrum of if we’re willing to pay upwards of $750,000 for a CB’s coach, then we should be able to land someone really good...

And in that scenario whoever the next guy will be will have a tall task of trying to land to some big game out on the trail.

It’s clear Mario values recruiting over everything, so will the next guy be held to certain standard or will yall let him off the hook?

I guess we’ll find out on the next episode of Dragon Ball Z!

What's a title have to do with being at Bama? Just look at all the hc's coming from there. It makes sense if that's your goal. Even if we doubt it happens.

None of the last three DB coaches have gone on to be HC's - at least not yet. Not since Mel Tucker in 2015, and he was a DC and DB coach in the NFL before his 1-year stint in KKKland. Before that, Kirby had DBs but he was also the DC

Now if T-Rob wants a path to the NFL, sure, fine - there's plenty of evidence there. But not a HC; he's wrong in that department.
