Mario is obviously a guy who performs deep due diligence before he takes actions. It will pay off in the long run but somewhat frustrating now that the only hire outside of Oregon people is Kevin Smith. The college football season ended 9 days ago... this stuff moves really fast to get top talent. Hopefully some moves shake out over the next few days.

It’s not always about money. The comp will probably be similar. It’s just the reality right now until Mario changes the perception of the program, which I believe he will: Alabama recruits betters DBs and has better DBs on the roster right now. TRob can immediately take credit for a bunch of draft picks that would have been drafted anyway. And he’s more likely to get promoted to a coordinator position since Alabama is a farm factory for coordinator and head coaching positions.

It’s a pretty good business decision. I have faith that Mario will change the perception of this program so one day top notch coaches will look at us and see the same opportunity that Bama presents.

Again this isn’t CFB coaching but still.

I agree w you. I don't think its a done deal completely but I wouldn't blame the dude if he wants to be a real DC again and sees Ala as the quickest way to get there

According to some on cis he has been going to Ga or Ala for at least the last week? Not saying he will not but after a week of these rumors he is still here

The wallet is open, and we'll find a very good replacement. The days of extorting Miami are over. Working for Saban is like going to purgatory before reaching heaven. Doesn't always work out for everybody.

We were too slow on Corey Raymond. Losing TRob would be taking an L unless we replace him with equal or greater than stature in coaching and/or recruiting.

Our momentum has come to a screeching halt…just the way Mario wants it, he knows negativity = moarrrr pages.
