Maybe. Sounds like Bama has their own source in their program and Gabby’s is different.in this case, its likely similar sourcing (gaby could get info from their 247). no current staff members were officially retained publicly fwiw
Taking his chances here? Bull****.it'd essentially be the same role here and Bama. no play calling more money. the diff will come down to either being part of nick sabans coaching rehab clinic to get back to being a DC or taking his chances here as a DB coach
I think many people are annoyed by what looks like indecision and some are worried because he took all the time in the world at Oregon and had some stinkers at OC/DC. Now add TRob may bail and right or wrong that shine is starting to come off real quick for quite a few fansAre people more worried or annoyed? Because they are entirely different things.
****. Idk. I feel like you have to take that trade.Would Miami take Golding for T-Rob??
Yes, but he likes a recruiter there.Doesn't Saban ,for all intents and purposes, coach the cb group?
He’d have to go through a 5 hour interview first. The fact that Saban trusts him enough to run his defense isn’t enough for Mario.Would Miami take Golding for T-Rob??
It sounds like he’s giving Miami the opportunity to keep him. Unless Bama is gonna pay coordinator money for him, which isn’t out of the realm of possibility, you don’t give Miami the opportunity to match if you aren’t serious about staying.Man if it’s this far along it’s likely a done deal, unless we make it worth it for him
I mean Nick Saban assistants have gotten their shot to get back to where they were. it isn't a stretch to think oh hey I may be a DC again quicker if I go with the machine at Bama vs miami. it doesn't mean Mario is trash. it means Bama is good and its why they hire former NFL HCs as assistants thereTaking his chances here? Bull****.
Ain’t happening lolIf we lose TRob and DVD gets an on field coaching spot….
one can hope. overpay for the dude. we need a top tier DB coach here to go h2h w RaymondIt sounds like he’s giving Miami the opportunity to keep him. At this rate DVD might luck into a coordinator roleIf we lose TRob and DVD gets an on field coaching spot….
I think this is why Mario never announced the holdovers. CYA to protect in the even a guy did dip. Again I could be a huge homer here, but I’ve leveraged new salary offers before and I never went to old/current employer with the job offer if I had no intentions of staying. Again this isn’t CFB coaching but still.one can hope. overpay for the dude. we need a top tier DB coach here to go h2h w Raymond
Dude, you always use that line.
