And this is why I‘ve been staying away from names with the coordinators, especially oc. Theres likely smoke with every name you’ve seen but that doesn’t mean they are the choice. People hear there’s interest or an interview then they go tweet or post that name. But with all the names that’s been vetted there’s a slim chance you’ll be right lol. But oh well, somebody is likely being used by the media right now.

I think its going to end up being Candle which I'm still good with, but Briles is the guy I want. He's been coaching QBs directly since 2015 and played the posiiton. Candle has never coached at the P5 level, while Briles has 12 years coaching on field at the P5 level

Only a mope would want a hire after 6 weeks of a coaching search, after every other P5 college program has made their coordinator hires, and before one of our biggest recruiting weekends ever...
