They can't both be DC, and even a Co-DC role is a step down from Miami's full-time DC; if I'm Muschamp, and Schumann gets it over me, I'm out. Same with Schumann if Muschamp got it, but that's just my opinion.

Partridge over every other DL coach IMO. That’s my #1 guy there. Would be a killer hire.

Hurtt could be OLB too and partridge as DL.

Their DLine was even better in 2020 than it was this season, that’s what’s crazy.

Other than playing at Miami, being a grad assistant / DL coach , coaching with Mario and being good friends with him I don’t see a connection.

Maybe he backed out but he was definitely linked here.

If you’re bringing in Partridge then it’s for DL with an elevated position. I never took the Hurtt stuff seriously. He’s average at best.

Yeah your right, I didn't realize but Caroll turns 71 next season. Very possible he's retiring
