Mario could be waiting on Dorsey or Brady who could be also be waiting to see if they could get OC positions in the NFL maybe. I'd think they'd know if they were really in the running this week. If those fail maybe he circles back to Briles or whoever else.
Dorsey may be waiting to see what happens with Bills OC Brian Daboll. The Dolphins and Bears (and perhaps other teams) requested to interview Daboll. If he takes a HC position Dorsey could be his choice for OC, or Dorsey might be offered the Bills OC spot.

Dorsey may have a lot of options…

If I remember right, the Kevin Smith news first leaked out from 247/Lake last week saying Smith and Aazaar Abdul-Rahim were both interviewing with Miami. I wonder if AAR has some traction too? Especially with these TRob-Alabama rumors popping up now.
Abdul-Rahim was interviewing for the safeties job. DVD is going off field. He’s not going to be a position coach. Hence why I don’t believe Belk is DC. It’s Schumann or somebody else with a LBer background. They have LBer backgrounds.

I just can't imagine making this decision without knowing who your OC is going to be. As a RB coach, that's pretty crucial knowing what the offense is going to look like. And I don't think you take the job on the word of the head coach about what offense he'll eventually run.

Sounds like the Oregon writers from early December

Which is why I'm not buying the Hurtt talk unless he's coming with Strong. Even then, we'd have to hire a LB coach
