What if they don’t announce at all.
Just have to wait till dude is on campus and have rumors starting about who’s on campus. That’s the way it’s been from the time Mario got here.

You would think it's Briles for a few reasons, but since his season ended, I've seen him post Pro-Ark staff twice, including the one just shared on this thread... by this week, if he was our guy, he wouldn't be posting pro-ark stuff...

yeah i agree. i don’t think it was a coincidence he tweeted an irrelevant ranking graphic right after the smith stuff started swirling. briles ain’t coming.

Seems to be a great-to-elite recruiter in the few seasons of experience he has recruiting at a P5 level. They got Zach Evans from TCU just a week ago in the transfer portal. And his recruits over the last 2 years are pretty legit:

It's funny how having a RB who was a successful player at his position means a lot here, but Dorsey gets zero credit for being a National Championship QB who called boatloads of audibles for our Canes, and hung on in the NFL long enough to get a pension with a noodle arm just because of what he brought to the table inside his head. Meanwhile Joe Brady played WR at William & Mary, where his playing career ended.

This holds water if the OC and DC are guys who are or were currently still coaching. If its Briles or someone who has been sitting at home for the last 2-3 weeks, then the theory still makes zero sense especially if its affecting offensive recruiting. And some are alluding to the fact that it is.

And Lane is not Saban. That was my point. Lane may have hired some decent dudes when he first got to Ole ****, but the challenge will be finding good replacements now, when "his agent" already circulated the story about Lane being open to "any reasonable offer" from Miami.

We will see. Lots of G5 coaches that are good that are looking for shots.

Its not affecting it. Its the dead period lol. The dead period ends Thursday. The hoopla over it, is fan driven and serves no purpose. Those kids are not in the dark about nothing.
