Yes, there is a difference. But at the same time, he’s giving courtesies that are pretty unprecedented. I don’t care when he announces as long as they are good coordinators. If they aren’t, then that’s another story. Natty is over at midnight, let’s see how this plays out over the next 48hrs.

Just make a list of all the December 2021 collegiate lateral moves that were announced prior to teams playing in bowl games. ****, half the Oregon staff is leaving, but every single person NOT named Mario Cristobal stayed for the bowl game.

What Mario is doing/has done is not "pretty unprecedented". It's actually pretty routine when you look across all of college football. At least recently, it is much more unusual for a college coach making a lateral move to another college team to IMMEDIATELY announce and vacate his office.

Now, CIS turning all of these coaching breadcrumbs into a cottage industry, and the #1 non-Tears thread with non-stop wild-a$$ guesses and massive leaps of logic? That is more unprecedented.
