Just trying to help this thread reach 300 pages so Mario can announce his staff
Well any perceived negative mention of Briles grinds some gears so we’ll get there!

If we slow down, just find anything Ferman says and it’ll generate a few pages for us!

I want Lashlee's passing offense with a better running game. A running game that can consistently convert 4th and 1.

I believe Briles can adapt to the talent he inherits. He runs Jefferson often because that's his strength. He's unlikely to run those plays with TVD.

He is definitely run first and has too much short , dink and dunk passing. That would be a waste of TVD's talent. IMO

By the way, I don't think this Arkansas offense is Briles's preferred offense. Baylor/ Briles were primarily known for their vertical passing game (though they did run a ton to keep teams honest). Nobody in the country chucked the ball deep and ran 4 verts as much as them. Which makes what he is doing at Arkansas more impressive. He's obviously adapting to the talent has and picked up some things from Pitman. Good article on Baylor/ Briles.

It’s Arkansas with a QB that’s ***. Nuff said.
What?? Noooo! The cast of Deliverance in Hogsville said that KJ was a WAY better QB going into next year than our starting QB, ‘D’Erik King’ … How could that possibly be the case? What’s one of those hill people sayings, that they may be two shotgun shells short of two cousins wedding? I desperately believe you need to cite your sources, sir. 2022’s Derik King, the starting QB for the 2022 Hurricanes is ‘a way worse passer’ and Kendal would be a fool to leave 2022 Heisman winner KJ Jefferson to come to Miami and coach Derik King.

I think he would adjust to TVDs strengths. He aired it out plenty before at Baylor and UH. Arkansas’ strengths is their OL, their stable of backs and their big mobile QB, so they pound that rock. Especially this game with them missing them R1 WR. JMO
