I am fine with replacing DVD BUT I Absolutely disagree with having 1 coach for safties and CB. The positions are so different and require different skill sets and different drills. I thinking it is essential to have a CB coach and a Safties coach. I don't even think it is up for debate.

How are most schools setup for those post is one honestly I wouldn’t know

Also not miserable… I listened to Brooklyn and just popped in to bust chops about people being anxious but moreso people appearing annoyed about people being anxious when it’s all predictable on both sides…

It’s simple: if you tell people we’re in line to get a recruit or coach and we do not, they’ll get anxious, call it an L, etc. Nature of the CIS beast…

If we landed all of those guys we might have the top staff in all of CFB - but definitely Top 5. That’s not a reasonable expectation. If we land the staff I mentioned, how many staffs are better than ours?

None in the ACC, 1-3 in the SEC, 1 in the Big, 0-1 in the PAC.

I’m in the holiday spirit. They’re not ruining it just because they think they got lumps of coal in their stockings from Mario.

In a month we’ve gone from a Top 50 to a top 10 coaching staff and dudes are *****ing. In 2 weeks Mario brought in Skinner and Kelly but missed on some transfers who chose the $EC and dudes are crying fail fail fail.

You guys fail as fans. You’re unrealistic. The dude gets to show us what he can do in his 2023 bump class. Everything happening now is gravy. He just got here and we had no one.

I wouldn’t be upset, but we would likely have to pay him significantly more than the 1.5 he is making and I dont know if he is worth that honestly. JMO

Guys turned down more money because it didn’t come with a title. If we gave those guys the title we don’t get the coordinators.

Although I really like Mason I’m extremely concerned he’s only semi Alpha at best after he didn’t physically beat the shît out of Mullet when he had a chance

But Lashlee was already a top paid coordinator and everybody is saying Diaz had the funding available for a top DC, he chose not to use it though

i meant we’ll spend over 1.5M more for coordinators than mario spent on his coordinators at oregon.

My take with staffs and if you should keep someone or not is if we fired them today - which programs would be clamoring to hire them?

- Mirabal would be hired immediately by a top team
- TRob would be hired immediately by a top team
- Field likely is hired by a decent team
- Patke will not be hired anymore likely
- Simpson likely will get a job in the NFL as an assistant DL coach
- Hickson likely will be hired by a decent team

- DVD isn’t being hired by anyone right now IMO. Therefore we shouldn’t just be giving him the job because he is an alumni.
