Here's a perspective... Wouldn't Houston have a DC search going on if Belk was seriously considering leaving??? Not saying he isn't but why would Houston care about protecting Miami's search??? Wouldn't they be more concerned of their own???
Wouldn't media outlets and "insiders" from their area be reporting on Houston doing a DC search???
Again, he might come here he might not... See what happens...

Agreed this whole thing is extremely weird and the media has had zero sources or names or hotboards this whole time. I mean is Mario even intervening guys right now or 100% focused on recruiting.

I think these hires are going past signing day when he can turn his attention to that instead of trying to fill out this roster

Well, I guess you could say the silver lining in all of this is that without an OC or DC, you're only going to get kids that truly believe in Cristobal and want to be at Miami. In any successful situation I've ever been in, it ain't cause we had the best, it's because we wanted to be there.

I hear ya but it's not that I don't think Mario is not interviewing guys I just have to assume that on the other side of things the other schools would be looking at options as well.... I honestly have no clue at all who Mario likes , dislikes and such but I do believe he's doing what he has to do... We just have no clue what his real agenda is towards it so it leaves the impression of frustration upon us... or annoyed, however you or me wanna phrase it...
