Trying to look at it logically.

1. There's no benefit to holding off on announcing. Whether you announce on a Wednesday or a Sunday or 24 hours before NSD or 240 hours before NSD it doesn't change any decisions.

2. Coaching hires tend to get leaked by the media before the school announces anything. We haven't had any legit smoke from the media regarding anything being close to done.

3. If, for example, Belk was the DC, Houston would be conducting a search and media would know about it. Houston doesn't care about Miami's coaching agenda.

The 90% by Friday comment stinks and logic dictates it's not happening like that.

Now that I've made this post, the entire staff should be announced within a few hours. Youre welcome.

Agreed about Houston not being publicly looking for a DC. Mario is the only one hiding his search and I’m sure Holgorsen would be livid and making it known

247 was so on point with the whole handling of manny and Mario search they are just throwing away all the good will they built up. I’m sure there higher ups are telling them to push articles and subs.
They’ve been hit and miss. They were one of the first ones to say Derek Mason was an option at DC, but later said they didn’t think he was a serious candidate and only his agent talked to Mario. But they were the first ones I saw who mentioned Kevin smith interviewing with Miami. Also were right about Kevin Coleman. Just off the top of my head.

He probably knows the guys he wants to hire but nothing is final, probably verbal agreements or some ****.

How were they right about Coleman ? They all projected him to Miami and even noted how they had quoted articles of Coleman to Miami ready to post and his decision shocked them.

It was the saints offense and he was with the saints the year before. Their OC was with lsu the year before and said he wanted to move to a spread but needed help lol. Brady brought that offense there, but didn’t call all the plays. A little research will explain the full story.
it was about carolinas offense

This thread is an example of people not being able to appreciate greatness when its in their face.

Hold off as long as you can. Jimbo and that killer DC he got wont know who they face until they hit the field.
