If Coen or Brady are the guy it makes sense to wait the end of the NFL coaching carousel.

Both could land an OC job, especially Coen if O’Connell, who interviewed for the Texans and Vikings (I think), is picked to be an HC elsewhere.
O’Connell is supposedly on MN’s short list. So that connection back to the NFL makes sense.

And who is this 247sports Canes? Is that from 247 with Gaby, David and Chris or is that the Twitter guy that uses 247 in his handle to make himself seem legit?
As I was screenshooting his account to post for you, he coincidentally made clear that he does not work for 247 sports. Don’t how legit he is but sounded pretty confident when he said that about belk. Also just said he thinks pyburn goes to Auburn

Interesting set of followers for sure but maybe those guys follow everyone on canes twitter idk

Barstool is full of ****heads but they are mostly gentle with DBC. It drives me crazy when people make fun of him. He is obviously mentally challenged.
The guy means well and is only good intentioned. Only an asshat would use that as an opportunity to go after him; pure bullying for the sake of bullying. I love all of the attention that he has received and how he has become mainstream (partly due to this board and partly due to him using twitter to his defense). He is viral and I only hope that people use that as an opportunity to celebrate him and not cut him down.

That’s who I thought you were talking about. Honestly don’t know him or if he’s legit, maybe he is. However, I will say that those 2 predictions have been going around multiple boards ad nauseam for the last couple of days.

Whiffed on the 'raw deal' part.
I could see where that would be subjective. But the way I see it is that they only gave 1.5 years, he has Teddy “Tiny Hands” Bridgewater his first year. Good luck with that. Second year he has Sam “Too Terrible for a Moniker” Darnold and actually made him look decent for 5 games until the most fragile yet talented RB in the league goes down and the season went to crap. After that his best weapon was a generic Freddie Mitchell in Robby Anderson. At the same time the guy that brings him there is second guessing his game plans and then proceeds to throw him right under the bus when his seat started getting the slightest bit hot.

Red hair is the result of a genetic variant that causes the body's skin cells and hair cells to produce more of one particular type of melanin and less of another. Most redheads have a gene mutation in the melanocortin 1 receptor (MC1R). ... This gene is responsible for freckles in many redheads, too.
Wrong everyone knows gingers are demon soldiers for lucifer and every freckle is for every soul they take duhhh

He does wanna stay in the NFL, but if he doesn’t get a good offer Miami is the best option for him from a financial standpoint.

If Joe Brady comes to Miami it’s not because he turned down being a NFL OC, it’s because he’s trying to rebuild his brand as a play caller after being scapegoated by Rhule in Carolina.

Regardless of the circumstances, bring him here because he’d be a Gradnslam hire.
This really sums it up here:
- Brady is a part of one of the most prolific offenses in college history.
- He converts that work into an NFL job.
- He doesn't have the same success at that level.
- Much like some of the questioning on this board, since he wasn't viewed as the sole playcaller in college, there are now doubts about that component of his coaching, which I think would have happened to any NFL OC trying to turn Sam Darnold into Joe Burrow.
ANSWER: Use the UM brand to rebuild your reputation and this time you will be THE playcaller. In one or two years, your brand is where it was and you are the hot commodity in the NFL again and erase all doubts. By then, Mario has had the time to already prepare for your replacement so we avoid thousands of pages of speculative coaching posts. WIN-WIN!

Agree with him on Pyburn. Although, not the toughest of calls. Couldn’t even get the kid to come on an official visit.
