I don’t think he’s a legit OC candidate though. I’d have love to have gotten him as PGC a year or two ago if that had been the timing. I think it’s too late for that and too soon for OC.

I was just talking to a friend about all this and we both agree that Mario/UM is masterfully playing the misdirection game. I think they are checking for leaks. Messing with other programs and their searches, I think it’s chess.

Personally I think that most everything has pretty much gone to plan. I know that’s an unpopular opinion here because negativity is the default emotion here.

I mean, we have known through this, before it started what his process is, that Mario takes a long time. That he has an extensive interview process for multiple candidates. He’s such a thorough human. I don’t see why this is surprising. I think he has candidates stacked. Remember way back when credible posters here spoke about how really talented coaches were reaching out? I’m not mistaking a right ship for failure or inactivity. Meanwhile we’ve added 10 players since he got here too.

Im not trying to change anyones mind here. Or alter anyones perspective. It’s just my opinion. But wouldn’t it be interesting if he dropped his balls on CFB and announced the hires to the recruits when they show up tomorrow? Then announce? Would be pretty impactful. Turn it into a THING.

Anyway, hoping the next 24 get a little exciting. I’m sure fired up.

The offense has motion & runs the ball very well, which opens up the Play Action game, so let’s get to it & lets go.

TVD’s a NFL QB, so let’s give him an NFL offense.

I appreciate your descent into acceptance. It is a better place to be.

TVD aint who I'm worried about picking this **** up. We aint physical yet. Teams aren't gonna respect our hard play action game. It would be a lot of lets tackle the running back on the way to the QB for defenses against us. Our OL aint ready for all that.

Oh **** no. Not you bro. You cross the picket line and I don’t have much hope. I don’t care what version, what tree, blah blah blah.

Just give me something pass 1st. Pass to open the run. Sling it without abandoning the run.
 
So we’re really about to see Mario blow through his third “self imposed” deadline.

I don’t think Mario is going to like the fan base much longer if he fails to hire coordinators on the level of a Brady.

We’ve waited too long and we’re a Ponce away from taking it out on the new guy.
