Orestes Destrade's glasses. Discuss.
We need to go back in time to fill out our coaching staff
![]()
What news do you wanna know about Brock?
There’s only one person (@Cribby) who knows who any of the potential hires are & he obviously cannot say, so what else is there would you like to know or talk about?
We don’t have a clue when anybody is going to get hired or when it will be announced...
That’s the update.
Kevin BeardQuick. Someone post some names to watch for WR Coach before this gets deleted.
Lamar ThomasQuick. Someone post some names to watch for WR Coach before this gets deleted.
Because it’s Miami Bro!!!Quick. Someone post some names to watch for WR Coach before this gets deleted.
What’s your favorite steakhouse? Can we all stfu with the baseball talk? I thought this was a Miami board with a thread about the coaching staff news?
Check back next week…Supposedly 90% of the staff is done.
DC is done, it remains to be seen if OC is done.
We don’t know if CB’s coach has been hired yet, or who exactly might be ST’s coach.
And Bryan McClendon might be the leading candidate for the UGA’s WR’s coach spot, so we might lose him.
We don’t know much as of now... That’s the update.
But But But he swore in front of Congress with Mcgwire next to him that he never took PED's ....Their Hr chase saved baseball coming out of the strike. People can hate on steroids all they want but they were all using them during that time pitchers and hitters.
What if told you it was a lateral move for his alma materMcLendon is not going to leave Mario for a lateral. I wouldn’t even sweat that rumor.
Ponce and/or Coley can coach WR as well. I keep saying there’s no better option for OC.Quick. Someone post some names to watch for WR Coach before this gets deleted.
Peds made Ortiz a HoFer too along with Sosa. McGuire was a HoFer without them. So was Clemens. Palmetto was an all star but not a HoF material imoSosa is one of the only PED guys I actually don’t believe should get in...
Mainly because without PED’s I don’t think he was all that good.
My argument for Bonds is predicated on even if you took away every single season he was alleged to have been juicing, he still had an unquestioned HOF career.
Bonds up until 2001 was arguably the Greatest living player in the history of the sport, he legit could’ve retired in 2000 & would’ve been a first ballot HOF’er.
Sosa only had 2 good seasons before the infamous 1998 Homerun chase with McGwire.
PS: Sheffield also only has 2 more years on the HOF ballot before he goes to the veteran committee.Who struck out more Jim Thome or Mario Cristobal?
Anyway folks we got a great show tonight coach Moe is here.
Dream outfield from my youth:
LF - Miguel Cabrera before he discovered pastelitos and ate his way to the infield
CF - Ken Griffey Jr, smoothest man in baseball history. I owned every shoe and cleat he released.
RF - Vlad Guerrero, most disrespectful arm in the sport and had a couple obscene offensive seasons before leaving Mont
Missed the cut:
Barry Bonds - our front office didn't want to accept the liability of his heart exploding rough his chest at any moment like Alien
Manny Ramirez - an absolute G who raked his face off and didn't give F
Gary Sheffield - Iconic stance and bat speed
I’m tired of clicking through 20 plus pages on here thinking ima get some news but it’s baseball talk. Sh*t is irritatingWhat news do you wanna know about Brock?

And a rapistVizquel isn’t getting in because he’s a woman beater.
What other topics can we discuss here? Bowling next?
Cousin Larry LB or DB Coach?Brad- OC

There are guys less deserving already in the Hall, than all of those guys in your sentence. I don’t see any of them getting in though. Rolen should be in, but third base being the hardest to get in doesn’t bode well for him. His overall numbers don’t do him any justice. Guy was a stud for a long time. He is Arenado-lite.Bonds, Clemens, Rolen, Schilling, Jones, Sheffield & Manny Ramirez are all no doubt HOF’ers IMO.
I really liked Tim Linececum during his career, in his prime he was Nasty AF with that back door slider & breaking ball.
But he just didn’t have the longevity due to how irregular & violent his throwing motion was, he generated so much torque & spin on the ball with his pitching delivery it was insane.
I factored that in. Happy to come back here and eat crow. But I don’t think I’ll need too. What if told you it was a lateral move for his alma mater
really good this year. They have to make a splash in the postseason w this squadnAnyone watching the Panthers?
