Pretty sure your right..I remember he had a two homerun game in Yankee Stadium, at least I think he did. Somebody will correct me if I’m wrong.

Yes he was. It was also the year where they had a monster class. Field is our ace utility player. We can keep him at TE coach. If we need that spot, we can pay him a top salary to be off field head of recruiting. I believe Mario respects him very much.So wait, Stephen Field was Director of Recruiting for Mario for one year? Anyone know if they get along since he left after one season??
Without looking I’m not sure. I was still super young. Just remember that one.I think he hit several HRs that series didn’t he?
Can we all stfu with the baseball talk? I thought this was a Miami board about the coaching staff news?

Bonds, Clemens, Rolen, Schilling, Jones, Sheffield & Manny Ramirez are all no doubt HOF’ers IMO.View attachment 174397

There is at least 10 on this list that should be in the HOF.
And batted .263 I wouldnt call that improving a swing.....I call that just swinging for a home run every time like he did most of his career.I’m saying if Jones was a DH and only focused on that would his numbers be the same? Jones dedicated a ton of time to being an elite defender. The one year he dedicated more time to improving his swing he hit 50 bombs.

I really liked Tim Linececum during his career, in his prime he was Nasty AF with that black door slider & breaking ball.
But he just didn’t have the longevity due to has irregular & violent his throwing motion was, he generated so much torque & spin on the ball with his pitching delivery it was insane.
If Trevor Hoffman is in, Billy Wagner should be too. He was way more dominant.Bonds, Clemens, Rolen, Schilling, Jones, Sheffield & Manny Ramirez are all no doubt HOF’ers IMO.

Oh I meant in the wrestling section of this thread. Goldberg was actually a great worker. My bad , I should’ve been clear.
Juan Soto is going to go down as one of the best players in history. Nobody know how good he really is because he plays in DC.Will go down as the best pure hitter of this generation. One of the best I’ve ever seen, period. View attachment 174391
What news do you wanna know about Brock? Can we all stfu with the baseball talk? I thought this was a Miami board with a thread about the coaching staff news?
Point being though him working on his swing led to immediate results. It’s not out of the realm of possibility he improves his avg focusing solely on hitting. And batted .263 I wouldnt call that improving a swing.....I call that just swinging for a home run every time like he did most of his career.
