How would Golden's old, outdated defensive philosophy mesh with the ND HC? Crazy.

Because it would have nothing to do with Golden's philosophy. Whoever comes there is running Freeman's scheme end of story. I don't see the fit either, but the angle there would be they have a very young staff and brand new HC. He BADLY needs an oldhead to lean on.
