Don't get me wrong, being king of a college town for your adult life is a sweet gig and there's absolutely something to be said for loyalty but Okie State and Iowa ain't actually ever winning anything in our or their lifetimes.

Gundy grew up an hour away from Stillwater, played QB at OK ST & has coached there for the majority of his entire adult life...

It was his dream job, there was no reason for him to ever leave because it’s the only job as a HC he’s ever wanted.

Ferentz is different, he basically just lucked out & found a program that realized once he had some success that there wasn’t much else they could do as far as finding someone better. Aside from OL’s, there’s not a lot of great talent roaming around in Iowa, so they’ve just stuck with him because they know it’s only downhill once he retires.

Doesn’t Gundy have a massive private ranch in Stillwater too? Even if they fired him for whatever reason he’d just be done coaching.

Gundy denied the interest fwiw and Boink is not his agent (Gundy does not have one). Boink played LB for Jimmy Johnson at Ok State

It’s Curt Hennig & it’s not even close.

Sting was the bigger star & had a better gimmick, but in terms of ring work, psychology & technical skill set it’s Curt by a country mile. Hennig is on par with Bret Hart as one of the greatest technical wrestlers of all-time...

Your favorite wrestlers favorite wrestler was more than likely smartened up & schooled by Curt Hennig.

Don’t want to derail the thread back into wrestling again, but anytime I get a chance to put Curt over I can’t help it!

Exactly. I 100% agree with this entire post. I am excited to see who we get, I will be rooting for Cristobal the whole time, I think he will be better than Manny. However, I am going to call schit out if I don't like it. If it triggers some Low T individual on here, than oh well.

The downvotes crack me up too. I don't care in the slightest about fake internet points on here. The guys that do the most negging also do seem to have the lowest T levels, so I think you are on to something. These guys need to get themselves checked out. Their lives could be greatly improved by a little TRT.

Cristobal will 100% make us a better program. He will recruit at levels we haven't seen in years.

But im a mope. Lol

My post only pointed out that the big names we first heard are not what we are seeing now. How is that incorrect or deserving of down votes? In a logical world it isnt.
