Miami has pulled away from a 7-7 game at the half the Canes are up 54-24.

Here are some of my halftime thoughts:

Jalil Bethea really made an impact when the Canes were tied at the media timeout at the beginning. He stepped up and went 3-for-3 in just a matter of minutes, proving he’s the kind of player who can turn the game around in no time.

Meanwhile, Lynn Kidd is on the verge of a double-double, contributing 4 points and grabbing 8 rebounds.

Postgame thoughts:

Bethea is the truth.

Djobet looks like a player.

Need to see more from Johnson.

Kidd - didn’t play his best game against massively overmatched competition.

I think @King of Allapattah may have been right in his scouting of Jalen.

Pack and Jalen are not a NCAAT level starting backcourt IMHO. I think there’s a role for Jalen, but I don’t think it’s starting next to Pack.

6 assists for Divine… very nice.

Pack, Bethea, Cleveland, Djobet, Johnson… that’s our best five IMO… but not necessarily our starting 5.

Sorry Kidd is definitely one of the 5. Can't make judgements off one meaningless exhibition game
