This is the slowest AugustI can remember so lets talk players.

First of all is Knighton participating?

Anyone heard anything about how Njoku, Herndon, Linder and Mayes have adjusted?

I haven't heard O'donnell's name mentioned more than a handful of times since he's gotten here. Whats the read

Deon Bush

Its suppose to be a 3-4 man battle for FS & SS (Crawford, Carter, Bush, Jenkins). From all the practice reports it seems like Carter and Crawford are walking away with starting jobs. Deon showed flashes his freshman year and was banged up his sophomore year. I thought this would be the year he goes All-ACC... There's still tons of time but so far we haven't heard much.

Agree with deon bush. Havent heard anything about him and that scares me. He looks the part but we need him to step up.

also havent heard much from beau sandland. Thought he would have taken a job from dobard.

Also agree on Gall. Not a peep heard from him.

Until today there had not been much on Duke. However, after today I know all I need to know about him.. he's just fine...

I think Beau is going to dud here... I think Walford has the bulk locked up with Stan getting anything he doesn't.

Never really hear too much about any OL. Hard to tell anyway, unless a guy is either road grading or turn stiling...lol But Odogwu has disappeared, as have Gall and N. Linder.

I have also been surprised at how little we have heard from Deon. I think he will be a player, just not sure if it will be this yr... Seems like Dallas is going to make himself some money on the defensive side of the ball.... and I think JC will be eating up the other side....

Not much on Dorsett so far..... Just wonder if he struggles with all the other playmakers around and the fact that our DB's are much faster than in past seasons... he is kind of a one trick pony.... Love him though...

What happened to Kamalu? he has disappeared... And yeah great point on O'Donnell... is he on O or D now?

All in all there haven't been that many practices and it seems like we are looking good.. I'll take it!
 
Dallas and carter have sent Deon and RJ to the bench it seems. All for it.

It may be dead now, but by about 9:00 PM on Labor Day, it's gonna pick up, in spades. Meltdown mode. I say we make Bomb a CIS Mod for that night.

The excuses will be epic.


Remember his Barney Fife stint as mod for Scout on election night when Kerry lost to Bush? LOL! He had the whole town banned.
 
I want bush to be like he was as a freshman but seems like Crawford and carter are our best safeties right now. I'm all for playing the best guys

yeah I really haven’t heard motens name at all, and I’ve heard heater’s name a few times but not nearly as much as I suspected I would
