Some eye opening numbers.

Morris' numbers were based on 2 games and didn't specify which 2, compared to a full season for others. Basically, this is garbage

They charted two games for Morris, and based on who else they charted, it was likely the KSU and FSU games. So, wouldn't put too much stock in those numbers.

Also, lol at all that data crunching and writing an article making comparisons when there isn't equal data among all the subjects. Terrible.

I only glanced at that article but on the drop passes. I am sure a lot of QBs on that list suffered from drop passes and I am not comparing them to Morris. Morris did throw a bunch of bad balls but at the same time there were a bunch of passes that stick out this season as KEY DROPS.

Dorsett dropping 2 TDs and 3 total passes against ND.

"A half-dozen drops, including two certain touchdowns by Phillip Dorsett on Miami's very first drive, didn't help."

Clive Walford doing a volleyball impression and setting the ball to the other team (in the end zone).

I know he has trouble with the touch (aka a change up) but he didn't always get the help he needed from his crew.

this ... not just Morris but about 50% of all the data is based on 1 or 2 games.

Even worse they charted FSU and ND games.

To be honest with you at the beginning of last season I thought Morris was average at best. He had a super strong arm but wild accuracy. As the season went on, he got considerably better. Those last 2 games were amazing to watch. I don't know if it was all Fisch but Morris looked very very good. Fisch also made Jacory look pretty good.

I think with another year of hard work and having a good rapport with Coley could equal Morris being a 3rd or 4th round draft pick.

Oh lawd, paging D Dollaz

lol, btw swag our Rangers been lookin like **** in spring training, you worried?

Not worried so much, because I don't expect a deep run this year. We have so many players that could be bust/boom - Ogando, Holland, Cruz, Leonys, Berkman, Perez or whoever is #5.... these guys could be awful or awesome or anywhere in between. I'm a little optimistic but not expecting anything based on the huge range of possibilities from so many core guys. Really just hoping to see the groundwork maturing for a huge run in 2014/2015 with guys like Olt, Leonys, Perez, Holland, Ogando, Yu, Andrus, Profar?, etc.... Need to figure out what we have with those guys (besides Andrus, who is obviously awesome).

If we would have signed Lohse and Stanton (I know, big IF) we could have competed for another WS Title. I'm afraid we go back to the old Rangers this year, although Darvish is the real deal IMO.

// Will still be down for 2-3 home stands though
