-2014 WR Ermon Lane hasn't focused much on the recruiting process yet, but look for that to change soon. The Alabama interest is legitimate, but not so much the FSU interest at the moment. Miami is right near the top as I've mentioned. The number one determining factor in his decision will be his relationship with his position coach, and so far he likes McDonald a lot.

-Something to monitor will be Jamal Carter's attitude once he gets here. According to a source, he butted heads with Soldinger all season and did not respond well to his disciplinary approach. Jamal was suppose one of the leaders on the team, but he often missed practices and workouts. Hopefully these issues go away once he gets here. Sometimes he light just comes on for kids when they hit the next level.

-Look for MNW to possibly make a surprise run in the playoffs. A rival coach told me he believes the Bulls are more complete than Central. If both teams win their first round game as expected, they will play each other next week. Artie Burns is out for this week's game, but is expected back for that matchup.

I watched a video earlier this year and Soldinger didnt seem all that impressed with Cater's character. He mentioned him having crazy athleticism but said something to the effect that he needs to start taking practice/workouts/games more seriously or just be wasted talent. I know Soldinger isnt the type to blow smoke up anyone's *** either.

Whats a local baller gonna do if he can see the field because he doesnt wanna work hard and miss practices

Carter being around guys like Duke, Tracy, and Bush will help more than any coach will. Or just tell him that EJ is gonna mess him up if he makes mistakes, that's what I would do.

I mean I feel you, but Ej, Scott and Terry are around Tracy, Duke and Bush too.

I wouldn't count Scott in that group. I think his issues involved a woman. And, we've done some crazy ish when it comes to women. But yeah, I feel you on EJ and GT..

If Carter doesn't shape up, he'll be watching Jenkins play.

We need to get back to the point where one dud doesn't throw our depth chart into disarray.

It's why we need a guy like Golden in charge. He can figure out which buttons to push and if Carter (or anyone) gets too far out of line he will punish accordingly.

Carter will need to get his attitude right immediately. Deon already has the one spot locked down. Rayshawn should be tough to battle for the other along with Burns coming in. Just get him on campus and get his mind right.

If Carter can't keep his **** straight when he gets here than redshirt him like EJ and let him grow up. Bush, Jenkins, Highsmith and Rogers will be ahead of him anyway. Jmo
