2016 OG Solomon Kindley from Raines HS in Jacksonville, FL has Miami in his Top 2 along with UF according to a recent article by CS.

I believe UF has/had him as a Plan C kid so it will be interesting to see what happens with the nations 24th beast OG.

Boudreaux off Florida's board | Gator Prospectus

The Kindley is 6'5" 345lbs but is very light on his feet and plays with good leverage for a taller inside blocker.

He is very close with his family so even if UF came in with an offer as late as NSD I think he would flip if he is already committed somewhere else. One of his teammates is a UM commit (2016 LB Mike Pinckney) and two others are UF commits so I am sure Kindley is getting influenced in both ears.

Article about his closeness with his family (he sounds like a grounded well spoken kid)

But the one thing UM has as our ACE in the whole is Art Kehoe's ability to take on a father figure role an turn OLinemen into monsters that not only make to the NFL but also graduate. I think once he gets into a FBS S&C he will become a mauling type OG that can also pass Pro well which is rare.

Notice he man handles some very good DL's from Florida

I was on the fence about this kid but he has grown on me and I think once he hits a FBS S&C program he will reshape his body given a red shirt year, this kid will be a mauler of an Guard that can also get to the 2nd level.

The next coaching staff needs to jump on this kid, along with locking up 2016 Off-Tackles Stewart Reese and Marcus Tatum. Those 3 kids would be very good pickups in the trenches to match with 2016 commit Jawaan Taylor an they are all Florida kids.

2016 OG Solomon Kindley here are his first 4 games senior highlights.

Solomon Kindley played a beast of a game against Booker T. Washington in the Florida state Title game. I believe he got injured at one point because he came out of the game in the 1st quarter, but returned shortly after that an played the rest of the game. He had several pancake blocks and few holding calls that weren't flagged (he is a raw player which once coached up will be a good Power 5 guard).

At one point he literally collapsed the entire left side of the BTW defensive line pancaking 2 players and chip blocking a 3rd all at once mind you, but the MLB filled the whole an made the goal line tackle for no gain. The game announcers said they were making it point to discuss Kindley because of the way he was dominating the BTW dline and also getting to the 2nd level to make blocks (granted Kindley had at least a 50+lbs advantage the biggest BTW dlinemen).

Kindley definitely needs a redshirt year for both coaching and to reshape his body (which has bad weight but a good frame to carry a lot of good weight) that will allow to be even more athletic, he is very nimble for 6'5" 340lbs olinemen. He plays with an extreme nastiness.

Hopefully Miami takes another look at this young man.

Go Canes

Solomon Kindley is # 73 (white team)

Was offered by Georgia and Va Tech this week, he is reportedly OVing Georgia this weekend. Miami needs to jump on this kid now if they are going to make a move for him. Hopefully the bad weather in Georgia makes him cancel the visit.

His linebacker teammate (Pinckney) just enrolled at Miami last week.

Go Canes

Does he have a a commendable offer?

Depends on the sort of fellow he is. Who will vouch for him and such. I like to see if a young man walks the straight and narrow for a bit before I commend him to anyone. But maybe Jolly Saint Richt has done his homework.

I dont know what the hold up is on his offer? This kid is a **** of a basketball player too. This big guy can move get up and down the court and was probably the best player on the basketball team.

He would be a steal he's featured in local news here for his BASKETBALL feats..
