We've lost every competent coach (Fisch, Mcdonald, Richardson) and retained an unknown (Coley), promoted internally (Hurley), and hired and lost a total sociopathic douchebag piece of **** in Cristocunt?

Color me very concerned going forward.

Ono is horrific

Jethro blows

DB's? Who knows

Barrow......wash

Downright dreadful......absolutely dreadful.....I hope Golden gets ****ed off and starts making serious changes soon.

Cant make serious changes until the NCAA cloud is lifted. Too many people here are minimizing the effect it is having at every level.

We cant move forward until this NCAA thing is history and that's why it is SOOOO critical that Golden stay aboard and guide us through this mess.

Any shred of stability is critical especially at the top.

We can't hire competent coaching because of sanctions and yet we did initially?

Dumb post.

barrow is a good recruiter. IMO the new hires were recruiting hires and coley could be great we just dont know yet.

I'm not concerned, coaches come and go. This is a good team that should contest for the ACC next year. Good player have a way of making bad coaches look good; see Coker.

Good players don't become good players with mediocre coaching. I'm a bit underwhelmed with the direction of our staff as well.....Fisch, McDonald and Richardson were FANTASTIC coaches (eventhough Fisch did get carried away with his playcalling at times). I have no problem with giving Carroll a shot at WR, but to hire a staff of just recruiters is not a great idea IMO. You hire the X and O guys as the coordinators and let the position coaches and head coach recruit. Actually, add Oline coach to the list that needs and X and O guy. That position needs more fundamental teaching and coaching than any position in college except QB.

How about we actually see the guys coach before we right them off. Fisch was hated by the majority of this board when he was hired.

Exactly. It is impossible to judge these hires, and I HIGHLY doubt Golden just hires guys without factoring in whether or not they can teach and develop the kids. Pretty sure as head coach this has crossed his mind once or twice.

Agreed Tenfold

Most likely Carroll will be moved back to his original coaching position and we will hire either a WR coach or a QB coach and give Coley an additional role in coaching whichever position we don't hire for. Can't really judge a staff when it is a) incomplete and b) not even started spring practice with the team

Get the players and then it's fair game evaluating coaches, though I see Fisch as a major loss. Fantastic job coaching and developing QBs. Understand the unrest, but it's premature to throw the defensive staff under the bus considering talent level and youth they had to work with. This year with another year's experience, an influx of 4-5 new faces who should see the field and a considerably lightened schedule (no road games against K-St and ND) should provide a true indication.

Totally diagree on DBs who knows?

Deon Bush and Rayshawn Jenkins not only started but looked good, Bush may have been our best player.

Gunter played **** good ball at times.

If anything, Williams should have a statue in his honor.
