Is a LB coach for TCU he's decided to recruit south fl, really?????? What the **** were you doing the last 3 yrs at The U??? I've heard his name mentioned more the last 3 weeks than I heard the last 5 yrs. :mad::mad::mad:

I think the guy will recruit well because he has to worry less about academics. If he's able to come back down to So Florida and poach talent we will know that it could have been more about the overall administration. The new AD and Coach have more of a Big Ten administration feel and commitment to FOOTBALL.
 
Well, if Shannon starts recruiting South Florida, it's going to be a whole new experience for him.

I'm not worried about it at all. It's not like Randy has the charisma to poach talent otherwise bound for Coral Gables.

If even half the bs that the rat threw against the wall sticks, I hope he gets a frickin' show cause with the rest of his hires.
 
He won't be recruiting against UM in Dade. He would be recruiting against WVU, L'ville, Miss, etc.

Why wouldn't he recruit here? It's where his best HS relationships are.

Shannon actually did recruit so Fla. The problem was many turned out to be hot garbage. The problem with many people on this board and Shannon is they think so fla or bust instead of just finding a great football player.
 
Underrated are South Florida linebackers. You see South Florida linebackers sprinkled around the nation at mid-level BCS schools and mid-majors and play well.

Shannon would be smart to go to SoFla and get him a LB or two every year from SoFla.

Yea keep believing those manipulated articles... Jack Daniels saying he had a good relationship with him but he didn't recruit Dwyer well... He just wanted O'leary but didnt want Maggitt or Brissett... Man that article was so full of contradictions... Jesse Hester saying we didnt recruit Belle Glades enough even though he was fired and Clive Walford wouldnt be here if it wasnt for Shannon and Golden hasn't taken a player from the Muck since he's been here... Most of those coaches were upset Shannon didnt pffer their boys... I even saw the Columbus coach saying Shannon never recruited his players yet we evaluated Antwan Lowery in 09 and Gore 2010 and decided not to take them... His rapport is more positive then you think... He is best friends with Ice Harris and he tight with Luke(2 of the most respected coaches in South Florida)... Coaches from 2 of the top programs in south Florida... He is also tight with the Pace coach as well... Who knows who else he is close too... Don't get it twisted, his relationship isnt that bad and we don't even know who else he is friends with... That being said, TCU will never take a recruit from UM... If Bama can barely do it TCU can't... It'll always be a big 3 battle...
