Disagree. A good FB can get carries in short yardage, double team pass rushers, lead block, catch passes, block on STs, etc. If Fisch were here Id agree since he called pass plays 55% of the time.
Look at Lonnie Pryor's production as a FB.

no Quad hill was a do everything back who could run, block, catch passes, just a beast.
Pat Hill was an amazing blocking FB and our offense was much better with him in the lineup.
