Small bit info on the Heritage kids in the Miami Herald 12-7

I’m sorry but that article is hilarious. If there was any indication that Tyson was all UGA and Patrick was “liking Bama more and more” then the 247 mods would be flipping their CB’s like crazy right now....There’s been nothing on Tyson and UGA since he cancelled his visit to see one of their games.

We should of given him a free back pack like UGA did. Would of made all the difference in him coming here.

This was at the tail end on todays Miami Herald regarding their playoff game: THIS AND THAT: A Heritage has five of the top 155 seniors in the nation. Baker County has no players in the ESPN 300. Four of Heritage’s stars are on defense: cornerback Patrick Surtain Jr. (ranked sixth); cornerback Tyson Campbell (11th); defensive tackle Nesta Silvera (95th); and defensive end Andrew Chatfield (155th). A Jones, who is not rated in the top 300, said Surtain Jr. “is liking Alabama more and more,” with LSU second. Jones said Silvera is solid to Miami, but Campbell, he said, wears a Georgia backpack to school and is likely to become a Bulldog. Chatfield, Jones said, likes Miami.

If we do not sign Jobe, Campbell and Surtain. This board will go into thermonuclear meltdown.

I'll take Campbell's kin folks opinion over this guys

And his kin said he has no clue where he's going...

I missed that , he always said "he was leaning um". A bunch of times , maybe I missed the new update

Too small for us to read.

Rumph's the worst recruiter in the history of NCAA football if he can't land at least one of the AH DBs. Period.

We will have a top 5 class regardless . if they don't want to hop on the train before it leaves the station ( and wins a title) I say F them.

Agreed. Great coach so far, as he's really developed some of these corners. But his recruiting will be a major concern if he can't land 1 of them

2017 Class -

Trajan - Kid was a Cane as long as we offered, didn't even need to recruit him

Dean - Alabama pulled his offer, Canes made the most since - Banda's Texas ties to his JUCO were a big factor here too (and Cooney is his cousin from what I remember)

Henderson - Rumph punked last second - UF

Edwards - Rumph punked last second - UF

Marco Wilson - Heritage kid that went to UF

Shawn Davis - went to UF

2018 -

Blades - Cane all the way, no recruiting needed

Frierson - Related to Gore and Perryman = Cane

DJ Ivey - super underrated, not the biggest schools trying to pry him from us

Jobe - Gunna lose to Bama

He needs to land Campbell or Surtain

Real talk: if we expect to be an elite program, then we should expect to sign at least 2 of 3 elite prospects listed, especially given the extensive ties we have with two of them. If you guys want to continue making excuses and scratching your heads then go ahead and accept 0 or 1 for 3 on the top 3 DBs locally.

It’s been obvious Georgia was our biggest competition for Tyson for a while....wrist bands>>>backpack though so he still coming

Agreed. The backpack I wear most often is from my last, ****** job because it's a nice ******* backpack. I wouldn't wear their logo on my wrist during an important part of the week though

here we go again, a top 5 class will be defined by a flake and a bunch of guys that were never coming here

I'm not stressing until they sign. I'm not new to this it's a rollercoaster

We really shouldn't be stressing about 17/18 year old kids period. The fact that so many people are on their ***** at such a young age is what making the signing period worse and worse every year.

I know a custodian at the school and will put him on backpack watch. This **** is just over the top!
