Buckle Up Boys as this is the absolute worst matchup for our Low Football IQ defense. None of us will be surprised if Wake marches down on a 6 play 75 yard drive with comfort on the opening drive for an easy TD. Not expecting many changes or differences from G5 Guidry, believe all the right things were said since GT but we will look disheveled, unprepared with plentiful of coverage busts again. Wake isn't in the same stadium as us when it comes to talent but Clawson knows how to develop talent and scheme opponents with the best of them. A team we should blow out from the start that will be another battle.

Some well respected posters actually think they match up well agains this offense. Especially if they repeatedly blitz 1 up the A gaps.

We have a lack of talent on D it seems in certain areas but with 2 weeks to prepare, I am hoping that we look at least average on D and somewhat improved. No matter what, Ward will will this team on his back to victory. We will win. Mario needs to start making adjustments with his coaching staff and find a way to improve with the talent he has. Not expecting miracles from the D but at least improvement. We'll see what happens tomorrow. Go canes!

I know I think some of blame is definitely on D coordinator. It isn't just on players.

However miami lacks team speed on D which is not usually the case with miami hurricanes defenses.

After that opening TD and 16 play drive that ended in a Pick 6, we stepped up and played much better. Here to give credit where it's due and admit I was wrong
