It seems that we’re recruiting a lot more guys who we’re just getting in on this year. Maybe I’m wrong but we just offered some of these guys like Barney and the European lineman in the past month. In the past we probably wouldn’t have even started recruiting Frédérique, Shavers or Barney til late fall when they’d have been committed for months.
Last year it seemed like when the first big wave happened starting with Riley Williams we kept hearing that Mario was the first to offer them. I’m pretty sure Francis and Jayden had said that. It seems like we’ve been recruiting a lot of the defensive linemen for awhile now also so hopefully that bodes well.
On the positive side we’ve done a much better job identifying the guys who are poised to break out and offered them earlier than in the past.
