Because basketball is his priority....and this staff wants kids 100% committed to football. It's been said multiple times

The American Heritage kids are a bunch of softies.

Look at the old University School kids and where they transferred. The tough kids like Sam Bruce go to STA. The rest of the soft pansies to American Heritage and end up doing nothing at the next level.

If you want a bunch of David Perry type kids keep recruiting AH.

I'll take Gulliver and St Thomas for my private school recruits.

Nah, he'll quickly realize that football is his ticket. This has nothing to do with basketball. Tons of kids express interest in playing both sports but they quickly find out that one is in the cards, unless they are a special athlete.

Z, I gotta disagree with you here. There ain't no way BB is this kid's priority or him even thinking it is. There ain't a P-5 school that has spoken to this kid in the last 2 years about anything but football. I truly believe he'd be a mauler at guard. He's naturally massive, powerful with good foot work. Need him and to flip whats his name (Booker T former commit) from gates. We cannot let our best OLinemen leave.

Who in the **** is telling this kid he has any business playing basketball?

How many 300+ pound point guards are there in college hoops? Cause at 6'4" that is his position.

He could be dominant at football and my guess because of basketball helps with quick feet . He is very quick for his size, he is def a take
