I'm not talking about message board banter between fans.

I'm talking about grown men on a kid's twitter openly talking trash to the young man.

Another poster said it a few days ago.

Those are extremist weirdos that represent a very small percentage of the real fan base.

I consider the real fans the ones that show up to games and those that contribute to the program. The vast majority of those don’t talk at kids on Twitter. They know where the line is, and they don’t cross it.

Even on this message board. How many real fans you think we got? Guys that either go to games, contribute, or both. I can guarantee you it’s way less than 50%

The moral of the story is, these kids, recruits, have to understand and distinguish between real fans, that will support them, and not badmouth them if they make a different decision, and fake fans that post shīt to make themselves feel good.

Unless you've got some proof you want to bring, there's no reason to accuse another poster of doing something like this.

I’ve had my disagreements with Broke, but he’s not one of those knuckleheads that shīt talks recruit on twitter from what I can surmise.

This is truly priceless. I honestly completely forgot about Rutgers, but apparently they are still calling us scumbags. They even linked to this very thread in citing that "You guys weren’t joking about the Miami boards being in complete meltdown". I've never seen such a thing. I certainly haven't read the entire thread, but I haven't seen more than one or two posters saying that they haven't been wishing for Sits to get dropped (which everyone should know by now CMR does not do) or decommit. Even those who aren't jumping for joy are saying, basically, "guy sucked but we still need a QB in this class".

It's mind blowing.

Reminds me of Houston fans calling us all kinds of bad words for telling them how sorry we were for them that they got stuck with Dorito. I guess all we can do is say, "great job, you really pulled one over on us guys", and wish them well. They'll figure it out in due time. I have no ill will on Rutgers, ****, they just did us a HUGE favor, but **** if people don't hate us for no good reason, and wow is that comment about "Miami board in meltdown" the new definition of delusion, or what?

Honest question: who is our 2019 QB target that they supposedly beat us to? I kind of follow, but don't really focus on recruiting beyond the immediate year's class.

I get why people don't want the kid, and I agree but we didn't "get lucky" or "dodge a bullet". He wasn't going to actually hurt the program no matter how bad he sucked. If he didn't pan out then he wouldn't play and no real harm done. People acting like if he came here we had to play him. If we don't pick up another kid this cycle, we're pretty much in the same boat as if he'd stayed and sucked.

Bottom line, we didn't want him and now he's gone. No need for the hate.

When you take one QB in a cycle, and he’s terrible then that hurts the program. At least we now have a chance to add a QB who can play.
