Indiana Nose Tackle Sio Nofoagatoto'a recently entered the transfer portal as a grad transfer. In 2021 the 6'3 320lb nose tackle was named to the polynesian player of the year watch list ( yes there is a Coach Joe Salave'a connection there as well)
In 2022 he started 10 games the Hoosier totaling 18Tkl as a nose tackle primarily drawing double teams. (Justin Rogers from UK was a much better dline transfer prospect, but at this point the transfer portal is getting bare). Given UM'S need for an added big bodied DT, Sio could be a serviceable option. Not to mention an Sio could be an added bonus in helping with Polynesian recruiting for the 2024 class.
Indiana highlights with some Sr year 2022 included.
He also appears to be a team / locker room culture guy which Coach Cristobal wants establish at UM.
Displaying some grown man island strength, utilizing text book "Fork lift" technique whil playing half man.
