Simote Pepa 2019 3* DT/NT is a recruit Miami needs to add to the 2019 class. This legit 6'3" 340lb polynesian young man is ready to play meaning snaps right now at 0 or 1 tech for Miami. An just as importantly could also be a future anchor to draw other OOS poly recruits to Miami.

My breakdown of his 12 minute highlight video (yes 12 minutes just from his senior year) is simply this; drop him in the middle to collapse the pocket and turn the Miami D-ends loose an we could drop 7 players in coverage all day for 3 an outs.

He has flown under the radar because he didn't attend any summer camps but rather stayed home to train around his high school. He was selected for the Polynesian Bowl.

He is being recruited by Utah, Oregon, BYU, Washington, Wisconsin, Tennessee and UCLA. But Has only OV'd Utah, BYU, and Wisconsin. Miami needs to bring him for a OV an shoot our shot.

Definitely a plugger we could use with a nice offer sheet. He needs to come and visit some warmth.

Preferred walk on? What?

If he's really under the radar he might be willing. If hes a sought after commodity he wont

Looks pretty good. Could do a lot worse this late in the game. Not sloppy and has that Polynesian hulk strength.

Watched him play against my kids high school ( Alta ) this season. He was in the backfield all night long. Will be a hard pull . Most poly's here in Utah are Mormons and Dream Schools are Utah and BYU. Most of the Poly community has large families so most kids don't leave the west that often. He would be a great get for us but what do I know I swam when I was at UM.

I know. UCLA, Oregon, Wisconsin are my only concerns. But what if by some chance he's there back up Option. I mean if the guy didn't go to Camps hes hard to gauge
Yeah but for a big guy like him I don't really need camps I personally want to see conditioning, body fat, how you can move etc and I like it so I'd have to think those schools especially Wisconsin sees it too but you could be right I mean we know nothing about him

Would he be a preferred walk on candidate? But either way I'm sold

**** no he has offers from BYU, Oregon. TENNESSEE, Utah, Wisconsin, Washington, UCLA, and others. Do you think he would be a PWO. C'mon man get your mind right. That is 340lbs young man with zebra like change of direction.

Go Canes
