**Alex Collins will be announcing his decision tomorrow night at 10 P.M. on a Fox Sports television special. An interesting piece of information that I got a little while ago is that South Plantation Head Doug Gatewood will not be making the trip with him. This could mean nothing, but I just thought it was noteworthy. Collins will be flying to Atlanta tomorrow with teammate John Franklin (FSU commit) and Franklin's father. Franklin will also be featured on tomorrow night's special. I expect Collins to choose Miami, but he is not telling anybody what his choice will be. Franklin told me that Collins has not told him anything and he has no clue what his decision will be.

**Before this weekend, Miami had all the momentum with Jaynard Bostwick and someone with close knowledge of the situation had told me that he would be "completely shocked" if Bostwick didn't choose Miami, but that was before his trip to Gainesville. The Gators believe they have pulled even with Miami after a good visit, but we will see if the late surge will be enough. This would be a huge loss for Miami considering Bostwick was all 'Cane for nearly a year and a half.

**In an opposite scenario to Bostwick's, there has been a lot of positive momentum for Miami with Keith Bryant over the last few days. Two separate people told me today that not only does Bryant's mother want him at Miami, but his whole family wants him here badly. A week ago, I would have told you Bryant was all FSU, but now I'm starting to believe he could pull a shocker and choose the 'Canes on Wednesday. Never a dull moment in the recruitment of Keith Bryant.

**Miami picked up a commit from 2013 ATH Ryheem Lockley from Saluda, Virginia today. It is almost a lock that he will need to go Prep so this can basically be counted as a 2014 commitment. Lockley is a good looking athlete at his size and projects as a receiving TE. I can see him being used in the role the coaches envisioned former commit Travis Johnson was going to play.

Lockley has better size too imo.

How ironic though about Bryant's mom when the recruiting process started how she didn't want him at Miami and now she's done a 180 and wants him here.

Need Bostwick.

She probably feels he should be close to see his daughter.....you know, like a good father.

Nice work, Pete.

The fact that Collins's coach is not going with him makes me feel more confident that we land him.

Really glad he isn't going with Alex; hate the fact that he tried influencing his decision so much, when it's HIS decision

I won't say anything bad about the guy because he is an important figure in one of our key recruits life, but I agree with you that I don't like it and frankly I think it's a bit messed up. If he, for some reason, thought a particular school was better for his development, and future life, I'd understand it, but how he flipped from Wisconsin to Arkansas as soon as coaching staffs moved is telling about his motives. Miami gives him a great education, close to family and friends, has a proven track record of putting guys into the league, and would be playing for a coach that will care for him as a player and a person (see m lewis)...

Are there other schools that could potentially be as good of a fit for Alex as Miami? Sure... is it Arkansas? No chance... not one iota.

PS - thanks for the info Pete.
