I don't put much stock in that. It gives no mention to the guys on our team from Palm Beach. Look at the O-Line in that list. Would any of you take any of those guys listed at offensive line over guys like McDermott & Feliciano? At TE, what the **** is a Nexon Dorvilus? Would anyone take him over Walford?

I know we've had too many kids get away over the past 8 years, but not all of those guys were people we "missed" on.

Thanks for posting though.

******* Lowery. We wanted him as a guard and he wanted to play DT so he went to Rutgers. Now he is 1st team all big east guard.....

Let alone when you take out the guys from the FIU, FAU, Bowling Greens of the list there are really only a few on there that we even went after. I also will note that any of those dudes Jr yr or older were during the RS era and he did not recruit like AG. We just need to remember that some kids blossom after high school and no one sees it coming.

It hurts seeing K. Wenster's name up there because I thought we had him in the bag and he makes the switch on signing day.

yes... i wish we had more all conference USA players and more all conference sun belt players on this roster!!! Dezmond Bozeman over Denzel Perryman all day everyday

Ed Stinson, why don't I remember his recruitment at all? Did he go Juco or something out of HS?

Fair point, but w/r/t OL, Wilson, Lowery and maybe even Miller were Miami calibre players imo.

Oh yeah, I remember Lowery & Wilson's names when they came out. I was just shocked at first when I didn't see McDermott & Feliciano listed and was like, "what the F?" It was then I remembered they were from PBC. It was probably intentional to leave PBC off that list (don't know what the Herald's readership is like in SFL). There are still plenty of others who I obviously would make no excuse for (Teddy, Gio, Amari, Bailey, etc.).

Mainly my point was that, while the list is flawed, there are a bunch of studs on there we didn't get...and that's why we have been mediocre.

I think the only legit guy we missed on was Bailey and maybe Coop. Gio, from all accounts, wanted to leave the state (or at least sofla) - we were never really in it for him from jump street. Teddy - we all know about what transpired with TB. Amari - total mystery, been talked at length here. Bailey was a miss. Peroid. IIRC, though, he had grade "concerns".

+1. For real. i Dont remember **** about him.

I don't think Randy ever bothered recruting him. He was 3 star DL on scout I think from Edison. Don't know if it was grades or Randy being Randy.

I think he was a 4 star on most sites though...

I remember that he was first committed to FSU before he flipped to Bama. I think the Canes were interested, but he was one of those kids that preferred to leave and Randy didn't like chasing kids that weren't "true Canes". Terrible philosophy.

I don't think we were ever in his top 3. It was something like Bama, FSU, and another SEC school. This is the type of kid that Golden would probably be right in the mix with until the end.

That's what happens when you have an idiot running the program for 4 years. Golden is locking south FL down and cherry picking across the nation. That's always been the formula for Miami success.

Losing Teddy B. was a casualty of circumstance and since we have Morris it lessens the sting a little.

I wouldn't take another year of Corch just to have Teddy now.

Not sure if Gio was coming here regardless either.
