Coley hasn't even played a game. Lets reserve judgment until he at least cracks the top 5 wr on the team. Right now he's behind Dorsett, Scott, Hurns, And Lewis. I hope coley balls out, but that statement was premature.

Can we have an age limit on posters so they have to be older than 18 to post on this board? Jesus Christ. Coley hasnt played a down and could be a complete bust for all we know. Please stop and give the benefit of the doubt to the vets who have paid their dues. Let the new guys earn it before crowning them.

Who doesn't? Kid bats 1000 on every level. Talent off the chart. Humble. Tremendous work ethic. Team first. And most important -- All CANE all the time. To break freshman record at THE U as a part-time back is ridiculous. And to just miss taking out Willis's record from the greatest college team to ever hit a playing field is about as unbelievable as it gets. And lets not forget, he was slowed for several games with injuries. When Miller got a hole he was gone: when Duke gets the ball he can be gone with or without a hole. For young guys, our RBs go back to Clinton or maybe Edge, but it goes back much farther. THE U had great RBs long before it was great. Foreman, OJ, Bentley, Highsmith, Bratton and others. For Duke to come in and challenge that legacy is about as good as it gets guys. Savor these moment cause another like it might not come along in your lifetime.

From an old guy who's watched the Canes for 40 years its finally jogged my memory....DUKE JOHNSON is the closest thing to GAYLE SAYERS I've seen in 50 years...The uniqueness is the ability to start and stop on a dime, but most importantly the SAYERS ability to cut sideways at full speed and in one step and be gone..

Refuse to read anything from that piece of **** rag. But Duke is a godsend for the program. If you don't love that guy, then you should kill yourself. He's Mr. Hurricane. He will leave here with every RB record and the all-purpose yardage record.
 
I don't think it's as hyperbolic as people are making it out to say that Coley is the best WR on our team. People said that about Duke coming in. I may not agree with it, but there's no denying that Stacey Coley is the best talent we have had coming out of high school in a while. WE may be deep at the position, but nobody has the skill set Coley has. Dude's dynamic as ****, and early reports are he's beastin' already. I wouldn't put it past Coley and Duke to be talked about a the best combo in the ACC by season's end.
