SIAP: question about ESD vs NSD

Since ESD is tomorrow does a recruit have to sign by the end of the day or is there a window ?

in other words, the the recruit doesn't sign exactly by ESD is their a cutoff day by which they can no longer sign up and have to wait until NSD in Feb?

Also if a player is in the portal can they sign up any day they want or is their a cutoff date like NSD?

I believe high school recruits have until December 17th and juco transfers have until January 15th

This is correct. ESD for D1 football lasts three days

Kids who enroll early can sign at any time between the 15th & when they enroll in January. The overwhelming majority of EE kids will sign during the 3-day window and announce then, but a few may wait to announce for the drama of an announcement at an all-star game. But, as far as having the ability to sign, EEs can do it whenever in that 5-ish week period.
